The Top Gun Experience is set to land in Las Vegas in the summer of 2028 near the Strat! While an immersive version of the Wizard of Oz is set to take over the Sphere in August! Yes, Vegas is an oasis for thrill seekers… so let’s take a look at what’s headed for Sin City!
The Top Gun Experience has plans to land at the Strat, and adrenaline junkies will finally have a chance to test their skills with gravity defying state-of-the-art thrill rides, there are plans to bring in jet fighter simulators and immersive technology that will allow guests to experience incredible speeds and the thrill of flying. Afterwards, you’ll be able to grab a drink or a meal in the hard deck bar from Top Gun Maverick. And of course there will be random live group sing-alongs. Vegas visitors will be able to fly into the danger zone beginning in the summer of 2028.
But if you don’t wanna wait that long, we’ve got something else for you… and your little dog too! The Wizard of Oz takes over Sphere Las Vegas with a 160,000 foot screen, stunning 16K resolution, and more than 160,000 speakers,! You’ll feel as if you aren’t in Vegas anymore. You may have seen this classic movie before, but you’ve never experienced it quite like this. Feel as if you’re actually traveling the yellow brick road yourself with this fully immersive experience. And finally this week, new attractions like the Top Gun Experience are awesome. But, Fremont Street is where you can find modern marvels and Vegas history together. From the new, state-of-the-art Circa Las Vegas to the original Binion’s Horseshoe that hosted the very first World Series of Poker… and from the contemporary Viva Vision Canopy to the 40 foot Vegas Vic sign from 1951! And now, past and present are coming together as the iconic Crazy Girl statue from the former Riviera Casino has found another new home… this time at the Circa, where the famous Vegas Vicki sign was also relocated in 2016.
Now, before you get too excited, there are no plans to bring back the Crazy Girl show… just their bronze backsides. But with the new Top Gun Experience Las Vegas… and with an amazing, interactive twist on the classic Wizard of Oz, will you really miss anything?
