Joey Logano comes into this weekend’s Toyota Owners 400 sitting third in the driver standings and third in Playoff points. He’s just one point behind second place Martin Truex Jr. Logano finished 6th last weekend in Martinsville and led six laps.
Logano’s lone win on the season came two races ago when he took the checkered flag in the Bristol Dirt Race. It was his third Top 2 result on the year as he was runner up in the Daytona Road Race and at Phoenix.
He’s looking for a third straight Top 6 result at NASCAR’s short tracks.
Toyota Owners 400 Betting Odds: Joey Logano
- Win Race (+850)
- Top 3 (+240)
- Top 5 (+110)
- Top 10 (-210)
Logano’s race win, Top 3 and Top 5 betting odds all offer value this weekend. Although I believe he’s a lock for the Top 10, those odds of -210 offer no value for Sunday’s race.
Experience at Richmond
In 23 career starts, Joey Logano has two wins, 10 Top 5s, 13 Top 10s, and a 10.8 average finish. His Richmond resume is even more impressive when you look at his results dating back to the spring Richmond race of 2014.
Since then, Logano has two wins, eight Top 5s, and 11 Top 10s in 13 races. His worst finish was 14th overall. In this weekend’s Toyota Owners 400, Logano will start 5th in the field. The last four times he’s started in the Top 5, Logano would finish with one win and three more Top 4 results.

In the 2019 edition of the Toyota Owners 400, Logano started 3rd and finished runner up. In last year’s fall Richmond race, he started 2nd on finished 3rd overall.
Take Logano to Crack the Top 5
With the way Logano is racing this season, combined with his past success at Richmond Raceway, I believe he’s a great bet to finish in the Top 5 (+110).
Pick: Joey Logano
Odds: +110
$100 Could Win You…$210
On the season, Logano is averaging a 9.0 finish. He also has one win and two Top 5s in the last four races this year.
In the last six spring Richmond races, Logano has two wins, five Top 5s and six Top 8s. Over that span, he has a 3.5 average finish.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the #22 car was contending for the checkered flag by time it’s all said and done on Sunday, April 18th. I really like Logano’s Top 5 odds of +110 as it offers great value at NASCAR betting sites for one of the sport’s best drivers.
