Americas Cardroom has announced the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, an online poker series featuring two major mystery bounty poker tournaments and a combined $15 million in guaranteed prize pools. It marks the biggest Venom series in the site’s history.
The series is scheduled to run from August 13 to September 2 as part of the site’s 25th anniversary. The schedule includes the $12 Million GTD No-Limit Hold’em Venom and the $3 Million GTD Pot-Limit Omaha Venom. Both events have a $2,650 buy-in and feature eight Day 1 flights, the most offered in a Venom tournament.
The No-Limit Hold’em tournament offers a top Mystery Bounty worth $500,000, while the Pot-Limit Omaha edition features a top Mystery Bounty of $250,000. Both events also guarantee a minimum Mystery Bounty payout of $5,000.
Players who advance to Day 2 are guaranteed a cash finish before the Mystery Bounty phase begins. Mystery Bounties will be awarded for every elimination on Day 2. Players who qualify through multiple Day 1 flights can combine their surviving stacks for Day 2.
As part of the anniversary celebration, Americas Cardroom will also run its Venom Fever promotion, guaranteeing more than 1,500 tournament seats through multiple qualification routes. Players can earn entry via Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites, Beast tournaments, and Survivor Flips, with qualifiers starting at no cost.
The festival schedule will expand beginning Monday, August 17, with the introduction of Venom Specials, a slate of tournaments featuring more than $10 million in added-value guarantees across the remainder of the series.
Day 1A begins on Thursday, August 13, with additional starting flights running through August 30. Day 2 is scheduled for August 31. The No-Limit Hold’em Venom continues to Day 3 on Tuesday, September 1, before concluding with its final table on Wednesday, September 2. The Pot-Limit Omaha event will wrap up on the same day without a Day 3.
The Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms are the largest Venom series held by Americas Cardroom, featuring eight starting flights and $15 million in guaranteed prize pools.
