Gov. Doug Burgum announced Friday that he has signed new compacts with North Dakota’s American Indian tribes. The agreements lower the legal gambling age from 21 to 19 at tribal-owned casinos, and allow gamblers on reservations to use credit or debit cards to gamble. They further allow mobile sports betting within reservation boundaries. The Michigan Gaming Control Board is seeking to combat possible issues with minors and young-age online gambling, recommending parents intervene and educate on the matter in the “tween” years. The Chilean Chamber of Deputies approved this Wednesday, on general terms, the bill that prohibits the advertising of online betting operators in sporting events and clubs of any discipline.
