Sports technology company Sportradar and sports betting giant FanDuel announced the signing of a new partnership for official NBA data through the end of the 2030-31 season. Under the terms of the agreement, Sportradar will supply FanDuel with official league data and supplementary betting services for its sportsbook platform. Mohegan announced Wednesday its North American properties generated a total of $5.2 billion in local economic activity in 2019, as informed in the brand’s first-ever Economic Impact Report.  Analyzing data for 2019, which currently stands as the most recent representative year, the report details Mohegan’s impact on employment, household income, direct visitor spending, as well as state and local tax support. Sports betting services provider Kambi Group has reported its financial results for the third quarter of the year. UK’s National Lottery operator Camelot announced new gambling rules have prompted the company to make changes, including taking away the Monopoly and Scrabble online games from its website. Sports betting brand PointsBet has shared its financial results for the period that ended September 30. For the first quarter of FY2023, the brand’s turnover rose by 18% to AUD1.15 billion ($742.8 million). Saskatchewan will see its first and only legal online gambling and sports betting site, PlayNow.com, become available to the public beginning November 3. The United Kingdom Gambling Commission has released its latest gambling participation and prevalence survey, which covers data for the year to September 2022. Overall participation in any gambling activity remained statistically stable at 44%, compared to the same period in 2021, while nearing pre-pandemic levels of 47%. In-person gambling participation rate significantly increased to 27%, although this figure remains below pre-pandemic levels. The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission approved Monday the construction of a temporary casino in the concourse area of Fonner Park, in Grand Island, effective immediately. The transitory property will operate while the development of the permanent Grand Island Casino is underway. The temporary property will initially offer 300 slot machines, kiosks for horse betting, simulcasting and a snack bar, developers stated in a press release.
