Sports betting services provider Kambi Group and Penn Entertainment have reached an agreement over the planned migration of Penn’s online and retail sportsbooks from Kambi to its own proprietary technology. Penn plans to effect the online sportsbook migration in Q3, 2023, with the retail sportsbook transition expected in 2024. Walt Disney Co’s  ESPN is nearing a large new partnership deal with sports-betting firm DraftKings, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter. A company backed by businessman Tilman Fertitta has filed to build a new casino-resort in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, according to public records.  The upscale project, on roughly 6 acres at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, calls for restaurants, convention space, a spa, wedding chapel, auto showroom and a theater with around 2,500 seats, Clark County records show. iGaming provider BGaming announced Thursday that the studio has been granted a Class II license from the Romanian National Gambling Office, thus expanding its international reach. The provider is now allowed to deliver its products to the Romanian market. The New Jersey Lottery has proposed an amendment to a rule that states that lottery courier service websites and mobile applications can only sell Lottery-authorized games. The suggested change would allow lottery couriers applications to offer internet and mobile gaming, as well as online sports wagering, through a shared or separate wallet. Additionally, the NJ Lottery has published a notice of a new rule. In July of this year, we reported about Station Casinos decision to close and demolish three of their Las Vegas properties. Those included Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, and Texas Station. Shortly afterward, the company announced a fourth casino, Wild Wild West, would also be torn down. Now, however, the company has revealed even bigger plans to expand their presence in Nevada.
