Butler National Corporation announced Thursday that, through its wholly-owned subsidiary that manages Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Dodge City, Kansas, it has received Sports Wagering Management Contract approval from the Kansas Lottery. Earlier this summer, the company announced sports wagering platform agreements with DraftKings and Bally’s Corporation.  The Sports Wagering Management Contract provides for the management of sports wagering, both in-house at the Boot Hill Casino, as well as through three Kansas Lottery-approved Interactive Sports Wagering Platforms. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority shared on Wednesday that additional executives received a pay rise for the fiscal year, which ended June 30. The Joe Biden administration is urging an appeals court to reinstate a deal that gave the Seminole Tribe control of sports betting throughout Florida. The move comes some nine months after U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich struck down the expanded gaming compact with the Seminoles on November 22, thus halting sports betting in the Sunshine State.
