The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) released a statement Wednesday welcoming the Irish Parliament’s Justice Committee’s recently published pre-legislative scrutiny report on the Government’s General Scheme of the Gambling Regulation Bill, which intends to overhaul the country’s gambling regulations. According to figures released Tuesday by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, the state’s commercial and tribal operators in April reported a combined $163.1 million in online gaming receipts and online sports betting – a slight increase of 0.6% compared with March results.
