Bragg Gaming Group’s wholly owned subsidiary Wild Streak Gaming announced Thursday the expansion of its game development agreement with International Game Technology (IGT) to develop four exclusive land-based slot titles. According to data released Thursday by the Indiana Gaming Commission, Hard Rock Northern Indiana in Gary was the highest-earning casino in the state in April for the seventh consecutive month, once again surpassing former earnings leader Horseshoe Casino in Hammond for revenue. The consultation period for a new Gambling Act set to replace the existing Lottery Act and the previous Gambling Act has been officially launched by Norway’s Ministry of Culture and Gender Equality.  The new Gambling Act will consolidate the various aspects of the three existing acts into one piece of legislation. The Minnesota House has approved sports betting after voting Thursday night to pass a bill on a 70-57 vote, making it the furthest that legalization has gotten in the state. Oklahoma tribe United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians is now one step closer to reopening and rebuilding their abandoned casino in Tahlequah after a favorable court decision, local media reports. Michigan fantasy sports license applications are now being offered by the the state the Gaming Control Board. Operators interested can find them on their website. Henry Williams, the Control Boards executive director, stated that “Licensing is a key step in fulfilling the requirements established by Michigan’s Fantasy Contests Consumer Protection Act. It’s official: Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly has now signed a bill legalizing sports betting into law. Senate Bill 84 was first signed off by legislators in the Sunflower State and sent to Kelly’s desk in late April. Australian integrated resort developer and operator Aquis Entertainment has signed a share purchase agreement with Capital Leisure & Entertainment, a subsidiary of New South Wales hospitality business Oscars Group, for the sale of 100% of its shares in Aquis Canberra for AUD 52 million ($36 million).
