Churchill Downs filed on Monday an application to rezone land for a Vigo County casino on Terre Haute. The 11 casinos and racinos in Ohio raked in $171.2 million in January, a record-setting figure for the Buckeye State, according to a report released on Monday by the Casino Control Commission. Ohio’s new best January ever for revenue finds gambling venues in the state bouncing back from a dip the same month last year, amid COVID-19 restrictions.  The previous January record was $167.5 million, posted in 2020. Evolution on Monday announced that it has renewed its existing US agreement with FanDuel Group to become its sole provider of live dealer table games across the entirety of the regulated US online gaming market. Maryland casinos raked in about $153 million in gaming revenue in January, according to a report released by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Control Agency on Monday. New Yorkers have wagered about $1.6 billion in mobile sports bets in January, according to an official report by the New York State Gaming Commission. Australian casino operator Star Entertainment Group has admitted it underpaid its staff with nearly 2200 employees denied about A$13 million (USD 9.2M) over a six-year period.
