Gaming and entertainment company Bally’s has become the first to launch RAW iGaming’s SuperSlice games, which use wheels instead of reels. Tier one operator Gamesys, now part of Bally’s Corporation after an acquisition completed last year, has gone live with titles powered by the studio’s innovative mechanics.

RAW is a new studio “with a conviction to create something that stands out in the sea of sameness.” It aims to develop “innovative, easy-to-understand and highly entertaining” slot games for the gaming industry. The business has now entered into an agreement with Gamesys to provide games powered by its SuperSlice and new SuperTrack engines.

Under the deal, Bally’s will launch RAW’s games as well as bespoke executions of the engines across its B2C brands including Virgin Games, Jackpotjoy, Bally Bet, Rainbow Riches Casino and Vera & John. The partnership sees Bally’s become the first operator in the world to launch SuperSlice and SuperTracks games to its players.

“This is an amazing opportunity for RAW to distribute its innovative Super-branded games to one of the premier operators in iGaming,” said Tom Wood, CEO of RAW iGaming. “Gamesys has an incredible track record with deep experience and working closely with its teams will help us learn and perfect our new gaming products.”

RAW was founded in March 2021, “by well-known industry experts with strong investment backing.” Its offices are located in Malaga, Spain, and in Malta. Its first games and the SuperSlice engine were launched at the beginning of this year.

The company describes the patent-pending SuperSlice technology as “a groundbreaking innovation” and “a completely new way to play casino games.” SuperSlice delivers dynamic slices, from 2 to 12, on any wheel design, “so players never know how many slices they will get or what they will hold.”

We are excited to welcome RAW iGaming to our Engage Exclusives programme and support the studio in launching these new and exciting formats across our sites,” said Nick Wright, SVP of Business Development, Interactive, at Bally’s Corporation.

We believe RAW’s SuperSlice® and SuperTracks® games offer our players something completely fresh and innovative, and we’re proud to be first bringing this new gameplay to market,” added the executive.

Bally’s completed its $2.7 billion merger with Gamesys in October last year, in an effort to launch a combined entity expected to be well-positioned to capitalize on the full range of opportunities available both in the US and abroad.

Gamesys is set to benefit from Bally’s land-based and online platform in the U.S., providing market access through Bally’s operations in key states as the nascent iGaming and sports betting opportunities develop in the country. In turn, Bally’s will benefit from Gamesys’ technology platform, expertise and management teams across the online gaming field.
