Several Oregon tribes are backing two new House bills ahead of next week’s legislative session in an effort to potentially shut down private casinos across the state. The move comes amid the Flying Lark’s -a proposed destination resort from the founder of the Dutch Bros. Coffee franchise- plan to open an HHR betting facility, which tribes have long opposed. According to data released by the state on Tuesday, Arizona’s nine mobile sports betting sites, plus two in-person sportsbooks operating in downtown Phoenix took about $467 million in total wagers for November, which was the third operational month since its legalization. Macau’s gaming regulator, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, has slashed junket license issuance in the world’s largest gaming hub by almost half, amid debates from officials on how to further control the sector. The European Casino Association (ECA) released details Wednesday of its latest member survey, which tracks the impact of Covid-19 measures recently introduced by European governments. Hawaii House Bill 1815, which dropped last week and aims to legalize sports betting in the state, is seeking to impose a 55% tax on sportsbooks.
