After a drop of 4.7% in January in a decline by 45.71 points, the AGEM Index published its numbers for February showing an improvement by 27.08 points to 952.95, marking a 2.9% increase from the first month of the year. Compared to February 2021, the index added 201.16 points for an annual growth rate of 26.8%. A bill seeking to legalize sports betting in Minnesota was approved by the House Commerce Finance and Policy Committee on Tuesday. HF778 would allow Minnesotans to wager on sporting events both through mobile devices or in-person at brick-and-mortar venues. Macau’s government is keen on assuming control over the total number of gaming tables and slot machines available at casinos in the world’s largest gaming hub, officials confirmed in a meeting of the Legislative Assembly (AL) on Monday. Ohio casinos posted strong revenues in February, continuing momentum gained in record-breaking 2021. According to figures released on Monday by the Casino Control Commission, the four casinos operating in the state posted an 11.3% increase in February over the past year.
