T he Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced August 17 record monthly revenue for the month of July, totaling $423.65 million generated from all forms of gaming regulated by the entity. The figures respond to revenue including slot machines, table games, iGaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests and VGTs, with revenue from land-based casinos particularly strong for the past month as patrons return. M GM Resorts International announced Monday that salaried and new employees at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi and Gold Strike Casino in Tunica are required to get COVID-19 vaccinations.  Both Scarlet Pearl and Beau Rivage management said they are looking to expand the vaccination requirements for hourly staff members. T he Indiana Gaming Commission approved on Wednesday, August 18 a deal under which Hard Rock will assume at least 85% ownership of the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary from Spectacle Entertainment.
