A proposal that could lead to a new casino in St. Tammany Parish was advanced Wednesday by Louisiana lawmakers. The Senate Finance Committee advanced House Bill 702l to the Senate floor with a 5-4 vote. Since the House has already passed it, if HB702 passes the Senate unchanged, it would go to Gov.
