BetOnline Odds Boosters for Sunday, October 25

Sunday brings a full slate of NFL action, along with Game 5 of the World Series. BetOnline’s odds boosters are NFL-specific today, however, with a particular focus on the highly-anticipated matchup between the 5-0 Steelers and the 5-0 Titans.

We’ve got a lot to get to today, so let’s get right into it! Here’s how to approach BetOnline’s boosted odds for Sunday, October 25.

NFL: Bills, Packers, and Steelers ALL To Win (+300)

The Buffalo Bills have lost two straight following a hot 4-0 start, but something tells me they’ll get back into the win column on Sunday. Josh Allen and co. will head to New Jersey to take on the hapless and winless Jets. We don’t need to waste time overanalyzing this one. The Bills will beat the Jets.

The Packers head to the Lone Star State for a matchup on the road against the Texans. Houston has just one win so far this season, but they’re likely a better team than their record indicates. The Texans have faced a difficult schedule, and they spent the first chunk of the season stuck with the dreadful Bill O’Brien.

Romeo Crennel was asked what’s been the most surprising thing about the Texans’ start to the season.

“That I’m the head coach.” 😂

They have looked more competitive since replacing O’Brien with Romeo Crennel, which is why they’re just 3.5-point home underdogs against the impressive 4-1 Packers. Green Bay was humbled last week by the Buccaneers, but it remains to be seen how Houston’s struggling defense plans to stop Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Green Bay’s high-octane offense.

The Tennessee Titans are favored by a point at home over the Steelers. Pittsburgh is a league-best 4-1 against the spread so far in 2020, while the Titans are just 2-3 against the spread despite their unbeaten win-loss record.

NFL: Bills (-12.5) to Cover AND Over 45.5 Points (+310)

The Bills are 12.5-point favorites on the road in Week 6, which makes them the biggest favorites on the board. Buffalo was beaten by Tennessee and Kansas City in back-to-back games, but losing to the teams that played in last year’s AFC Championship Game isn’t the worst thing in the world.

We know the Bills are going to win this game, but can they cover the big spread?

Yes. Yes they can. Not only are the Jets 0-6 straight up, but they’re also incredibly 0-6 against the spread! New York has missed the spread by an average of 11.3 points per game, which is remarkable.

The Bills are going to have to do the heavy lifting for this game to hit the over on 45.5. Buffalo has hit the over in four of their six games to this point, while the Jets are 3-3 over/under.

NFL: Derrick Henry to Score First Touchdown (+550)

Derrick Henry is good. The former Heisman winner ripped the Texans to shreds last week, rushing for 212 yards on 22 attempts with a pair of scores. If that wasn’t enough, he also added a couple of catches for another 52 yards.

Friendly reminder that Derrick Henry is a large human.

While he has been great this season, Henry hasn’t actually scored the first touchdown in any of the Titans’ five games thus far. Tennessee has often taken to the air to find their first score of the game, and Henry finds himself in a difficult micro matchup against a Steelers’ defense that has been the best in football by a wide margin early this season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are No. 1 in DVOA against the run so far this season. It’s far from an ideal spot for the Titans’ All-Pro running back.

NFL: Chiefs, Patriots, and Seahawks ALL To Win (+375)

The Chiefs are favored this Sunday because it is a day that ends in “Y.” The reigning Super Bowl champs are favored by a little over a touchdown in the Mile High City against a Broncos team that just upset the Patriots last week.

The Seahawks will take their explosive offense to the desert to take on Kyler Murray and the Cardinals in what should be a high-scoring Sunday night affair. This game has an over/under of 55.5 points, which is the second-highest on the day behind Houston/Green Bay. Seattle is a three-point favorite on the road here.

The Patriots will be at home for the second straight week, this time to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Niners picked up a big win at home over the LA Rams in Week 5, while the Pats endured their aforementioned upset defeat to Denver. The Patriots are favored by 2.5 here.

NFL: Seahawks (-3.5) to Cover AND Over 55.5 Points (+310)

Seattle is another team with a perfect 5-0 record thus far, and they’ll play what should be a fun matchup on Sunday night in Glendale. The Cardinals are coming off a big win of their own over the Cowboys in Arlington last Monday night.

Buccaneers at Las Vegas Raiders game now shifted to this Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.

Seahawks at Cardinals game now moved to this Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The Seattle Seahawks rank second in offensive DVOA so far this season behind only the Chiefs, while the Cardinals are a respectable 11th. The showcase of Russell Wilson against Kyler Murray should make for must-see TV, and it’s very difficult to imagine this game not turning into a shootout.

It helps that Seattle and Arizona have also been miserable defensively on the year. Seattle is 29th in pass defense DVOA. Arizona has been a bit better, but they did just lose their All-Pro pass rusher in Chandler Jones.

What’s The Best Bet?

I’ll pass on Derrick Henry to score the first touchdown of Steelers-Titans. He’s fully capable of doing it, but the Steelers’ stingy run defense makes this a tough bet to trust at +550.

Bills, Steelers, and Packers all to win +300 is a solid value, but I’m not completely sold on Green Bay and Pittsburgh actually holding up their ends of the bargain here. I think we have some safer options out there, so avoid this one at +300.

It’s also difficult to trust the Patriots after such a dreadful effort last week against a beatable Broncos team. The 49ers showed last week that they are still capable of beating quality opponents, so Chiefs, Patriots, and Seahawks all to win at +375 looks mediocre.

The Bills are fully capable of hitting the over on 45.5 points all by themselves against the Jets, but I don’t love betting the over in a game that figures to be heavily lopsided.

The best option here looks like Seattle to cover along with the over on 55.5 points. Both offenses in this game should be able to do whatever they want, and Seattle is still a solid bet to win by at least four points. The Seahawks are tied with the Steelers at 4-1-0 against the spread so far in 2020.

Bet on the over on 55.5 points with the Seahawks covering 3.5 points at +310.
