BetOnline Odds Boosts for Saturday, October 31

Halloween is here, and we’ve got a jam-packed sports calendar. Your city may or may not be allowing Trick-or-Treating this year, but either way it makes for a good excuse not to leave the couch.

You can start your day with some early morning Premier League action before MLS gets underway later in the afternoon. College football runs all day, of course, and we’ll close things out with UFC on ESPN+ 39. BetOnline has a number of odds booster offerings available to you this Saturday, so let’s dive right in!

Premier League: Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool ALL to Win (+250)

Manchester City sit just 13th in the Premier League table. It’s fair to assume nobody could’ve expected to see them there at this point. Their season is just five games old, but their lack of form has still been startling. The Citizens are just 2-2-1 to this point, which puts them below the likes of Leeds, Crystal Palace, and Southampton in the standings.

City will look to get back on track Saturday on the road at Sheffield United. Sheffield put up a good fight last week against Liverpool before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat. Goals have been tough to come by for Sheffield, as they’ve mustered just three through their first six league games. City are understandable -323 moneyline favorites here despite their own questionable recent form.

Chelsea are a disappointing 10th in the table themselves following a scoreless draw last weekend against Manchester United. Frank Lampard is continuing to try and work in the bevy of new pieces the Blues signed this offseason, and the results early on have been mixed. Chelsea face a fairly tough test on the road against Burnley at the Turf Moor on Saturday, but Lampard’s side are still -193 favorites to pick up all three points.

Liverpool, who continue to get results despite having lost Virgil Van Dijk for the season, will look to keep their winning ways going at Anfield on Saturday against West Ham. The Hammers are fresh off a string of impressive results, including a 3-0 win over Leicester with draws against Tottenham and City. Liverpool are Liverpool, though, which is why the Reds are -257 moneyline favorites at home.

NFL: Patriots to Win AFC East (+600)

Things could be going better for the New England Patriots right now. New England was trounced at home by the Broncos a couple of weeks ago before being beaten even more thoroughly by the 49ers last week. Cam Newton has looked terrible since the team’s unscheduled bye, which has some Patriots fans already calling for Jarrett Stidham.

New England is just 2-4 thus far, which puts them third in the division behind Buffalo and Miami. There is more than enough time left in the campaign for the Pats to rally to a division title, but they haven’t really looked like a legitimate threat in quite some time.

The +600 boosted odds you’re getting here on the Patriots to win the AFC East are a bit better than the standard +525 odds offered in BetOnline’s NFL futures section.

MLS: Dallas and Nashville BOTH to Win (+450)

FC Dallas will be at home to play the Texas Derby against Houston on Saturday. Neither of these teams has been in the best form of late, but FCD is a +108 home favorite. The Dynamo, fresh off a 2-1 loss at LAFC earlier this week, are listed at +271.

FC Dallas currently occupies the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference, while the Dynamo are one spot above last place.

Nashville SC will also be at home taking on the Chicago Fire. This game is a pick’em on the spread, but the hosts are +135 favorites to pick up all three points. Chicago is listed at +215, with the draw down at +240.

Nashville are sixth in the East, while Chicago is 10th and in the hunt for one of the conference’s final postseason spots.

UFC: Hall, Mitchell, and Hardy ALL to Win (+290)

Anderson Silva has said that this bout against Uriah Hall will be the last of his decorated career. Silva was the GOAT in the sport there for a while, but he has struggled a bit as his career has trended toward retirement in recent years. The 45-year-old is listed as a +190 underdog against Hall (-230) on Saturday night.

Bryce Mitchell (-145) will take on Andre Fili (+125) in an undercard event. Fili is just 9-6 in his UFC career to this point, but he has won three of his last four appearances in the octagon. Mitchell enters the fight as the No. 15 featherweight in UFC with a 4-0 record in UFC competition. This should be a more competitive fight than the headliner between Silva and Hall, but Mitchell has a pretty clear edge.

Former NFLer Greg Hardy has improved quite a bit as a fighter since making his UFC debut two years ago, with five of his six UFC wins coming via KO/TKO. Hardy is a sizable -320 favorite here over Maurice Greene (+260), who has a 4-2 UFC record thus far.

UFC: Hall to Win by KO/TKO or DQ (+195)

Hall bounced back from an 0-2 start in UFC to win three straight. 12 of his 15 wins on the circuit to this point have come via stoppage with 11 of those via KO/TKO. With Silva’s prime having long since passed, there is real chance this fight isn’t able to go the distance.

Hall is just the better all-around fighter at this stage of their respective careers. Saturday may mark the sending off of arguably the greatest fighter UFC has ever seen, but there seems to be an excellent chance that the night ends in early defeat for Silva here. BetOnline sportsbook has -120 odds on this bout not going the distance, with Hall at +160 to win by KO/TKO.

UFC: Hardy to Win Round 1 (+245)

Oddsmakers aren’t expecting Hardy’s fight with Greene to go the distance, either. This fight has -240 odds of ending early, with Hardy at -130 to pick up the win inside the distance. While that doesn’t mean Hardy will win the first round, his chances of doing so are certainly favorable with seemingly everything going in his direction here.

Hardy has +250 odds of winning the fight in the first round via KO/TKO. You’re also getting standard +200 odds on Hardy winning just the first round, so these +245 odds are certainly a boost.

What’s The Best Bet?

Dallas and Nashville both winning at +450 is viable with both teams slight favorites to win, but their individual odds aren’t good enough for me to side with the MLS booster here. Either game could legitimately go either way, so I think we can do better with the options we have on the board.

I’ll pass on the Patriots winning the AFC East at +600.

With Tom Brady gone, Bill Belichick’s magic touch may be fading. Buffalo is going to win that division. Any other outcome would be legitimately shocking at this point.

Greg Hardy taking the first round of his fight with Maurice Greene is certainly possible, but it’s not the best value out there at +245. Ditto for Hall beating Silva via TKO/KO at +195.

Betting on those three Premier League giants all to win at +250 offers a good bit of value. Liverpool and City look like near-locks to do so, while I still like Chelsea’s chances of getting the better of Burnley on the road. I don’t hate the idea of taking those +250 odds.

The best bet, though, appears to be Hall, Hardy, and Mitchell all to win at +290. All three fighters are big moneyline favorites to pick up wins here, so combining the results at those odds really stands out. Bet on all three fighters to win on Saturday night.

Hall, Mitchell, and Hardy ALL to Win (+290)
