Betting on WrestleMania 37 Night 2 – Best Bets and Picks

On Sunday, April 11^th, WWE will be live from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, for Night 2 of WrestleMania 37. We’ve already covered the opening night of WM 37, so this betting preview will focus exclusively on the action for the second night of this huge event.

As of this writing, there are seven matches scheduled for Sunday’s portion of WrestleMania 37 which begins at 8pm ET on Peacock.

WWE betting sites have released their odds for most of the lineup. Let’s walk that aisle, slither underneath the ring ropes and hit a short-arm clothesline on these predictions Jake The Snake style.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match

On Night One, the WWE will hold a tag team turmoil match with multiple tag teams vying for this title shot on Night 2.

There are four teams in the tag team turmoil match: Lana and Naomi vs Tamina Snuka and Natalya vs Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott vs Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke.

There’s a rumor that the WWE could add a 5^th team to the mix with Carmella and Billie Kay being added most likely on the April 9^th episode of SmackDown.

A graphic was released for this match and it included the team of Billie Kay and Carmella, but they have not been officially announced as of yet.

Any of these teams could win the tag turmoil match and the WWE betting odds have yet to be released for that bout. You will also have to wait until Sunday morning or late Saturday night to get odds on this women’s tag team title match.

I predicted that Rose and Brooke would win the turmoil match on Night 1 and my opinion hasn’t changed even with the possibility of Kay and Carmella being added to the bout.

I don’t think there’s a women’s tag team that should beat Baszler and Nia Jax for the titles. They could have a great title run if WWE allows them to. Yet, I could also see the WWE putting the belts on Rose and Brooke for a short time.

It will be interesting to see how much of a favorite the tag champs will be. Until we get the odds, we can’t make a wager. Either way, I am still rolling with the champs.

SmackDown Singles Match

• Kevin Owens (-350)
• Sami Zayn (+225)

This is quite possibly the most meaningless match on the entire WrestleMania card and that’s saying a lot considering there’s also the Strowman vs McMahon and Miz/Bunny tag team match.

Nevertheless, this one has very little excitement even with the addition of Logan Paul as Sami Zayn’s guest. More than likely, Paul will cost Zayn the match even though it would fit Paul’s public persona if he were to help Zayn cheat to win.

Both Zayn and Owens were just thrown together into a storyline to give them something to do on this show. Owens went from feuding Roman Reigns for a couple of months as the top storyline on SmackDown to irrelevant. This WM 37 match furthers my argument.

With that in mind, there’s no reason to think that Zayn will win. Hopefully Owens can get a meaningful feud after Mania. Take “KO” to win the match.

United States Championship Match

• Sheamus (+120)

Sheamus went from feuding with McIntyre as the main storyline on RAW to feuding with Riddle for the US title. And, the result will be the same.

“The Celtic Warrior” attacked Riddle and declared his intentions for a title shot at WM 37. Sheamus even beat Riddle in a match on RAW as well. He’s looking to win the US title for a third time.

Riddle is slowly ascending up the ladder on RAW and is in the midst of a decent title reign. I believe this match will be used as a stepping stone for “The Original Bro” and give him a boost in credibility.

Although Sheamus is a valuable commodity for the WWE, he’s not going to win on Sunday.

Nigerian Drum Fight Match

• Apollo Crews (-140)

This match is for the Intercontinental Championship.

I’ve been saying for a while now that I actually like this storyline. I think the WWE has done a good job building up this feud especially with the heel turn from Crews and his new gimmick.

The one thing that does bother me is that we already saw these two fight at Fastlane with Big E winning. And, despite the odds favoring Crews at entertainment betting sites, I see no reason to believe that Big E will lose the IC belt.

Big E is tabbed as a future main event star. He will fight for the title at some point this year, but that won’t happen in the immediate future. Instead, he will continue to reign on SmackDown with the IC belt around his waist.

Even though the match’s gimmick favors Crews, take Big E to retain his title this weekend. Furthermore, I love the value with Big E’s odds of +100. I’m very surprised that they have him as the underdog.

RAW Singles Match

• The Fiend (-950)
• Randy Orton (+500)

Here’s a match nearly six months in the making as these two started feuding last year.

The rivalry heated up at TLC last December when Orton set The Fiend on fire. We didn’t see The Fiend again until Fastlane when he emerged to attack Orton who was supposed to fight Alexa Bliss at that PPV.

As of now, we don’t know if this match will be a regular contest or a cinematic one. In my opinion, it should be a cinematic one as those types of matches have become popular with the fans.

Furthermore, The Fiend’s matches are more entertaining when they’re of the cinematic variety and we’ve already seen these two compete in regular matches over the years.

The Fiend is the largest betting favorite for the entire WrestleMania 37 event. And, there’s absolutely no reason to think that he won’t win.

The WWE has built up to this moment for a long time now as it has spanned numerous PPV events and many episodes of RAW. All of this build up has been done to have The Fiend get revenge on Orton by crushing “The Viper.”

There’s no betting value with The Fiend’s odds and Orton is not worth even a small flier.

RAW Women’s Title Match

• Rhea Ripley (-400)

This match will be for the RAW women’s title. It’s also a match of two stars who both had their remarkable runs ended by Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.

A few years ago, Flair ended Asuka’s undefeated streak. Last year, Flair beat Ripley for the NXT title in arguably the best match of the entire WM 36 show.

The WWE recently decided to turn Ripley into a heel for this bout against Asuka. Personally, I felt this was unnecessary as the match would’ve still been a success even if they didn’t change up Ripley’s persona.

With that said, this title match is perfectly set up for Ripley to win and become one of the main stars on the women’s roster.

Just like with Belair on SmackDown, the WWE needs fresh faces for the women’s roster. Both Belair and Ripley fit that bill. However, they aren’t only fresh faces, but they’re super talented as well.

Another indicator that Ripley will win on Sunday is the fact that the WWE has brought in Ash Costello of New Years Day for a live performance of Ripley’s entrance theme. There’s no way that they would do this if Ripley was going to lose.

I’m surprised that Ripley’s odds aren’t even higher. Asuka has done a good job bringing stability and relevance to the RAW women’s title, but it’s time for Ripley to reign supreme on the red show.

Universal Championship Triple Threat Match

• Daniel Bryan (+200)

Since Reigns aligned himself with Paul Heyman last summer, he has been absolutely unstoppable as the Universal Champion. He’s also been the WWE’s most dominating figure and one of their most entertaining ones as well.

Daniel Bryan first entered into a storyline with Reigns late last year when he helped out Kevin Owens on a couple of occasions. Bryan and Reigns have already competed for the title twice with Reigns winning both encounters.

Edge won the men’s Royal Rumble this year and chose to wrestle Reigns for the UC title at WM 37 per the stipulation of winning the RR. Yet, along the way, Daniel Bryan was interjected into the Reigns vs Edge encounter and now we have a triple threat match.

I firmly believe that Bryan was put into this match to take the loss. He will either get pinned by Edge or by Reigns. This will be done so that the other two are protected and they can continue a storyline after WM 37.

With that in mind, I am leaning towards Edge winning the title. If he pins Bryan then Reigns can chase after him until he gets the belt back in the summer. It would be a special moment seeing Edge win the belt once again.

I can already envision WWE closing out WM 37 on Sunday night with Edge standing tall and holding the Universal Championship as the announcers are shouting his victory.

Both Edge and Reigns offer solid betting value for this match. I’m actually surprised to see Bryan’s odds this low.
