The season finale of The Masked Singer UK Season two drew an incredible 10.6 million people. On average the episode saw 8.6 million people tuning in. ITV claims that viewership numbers for the show improved every single week throughout the season.

“In these testing times, we’re delighted that The Masked Singer has brought some escapist joy and light relief to so many viewers at home,” said Kevin Lygo, ITV’s director of media and entertainment. “At the end of a long week in lockdown we’re all coming together and trying to guess who’s dressed as a giant sausage, and quite frankly, it’s been a brilliantly entertaining tonic.”

Now is the perfect time to offer a quick betting recap of The Masked Singer UK season two. There were some big surprises in store for fans around the world. Below is a look at what took place this Saturday!

Ultimate Betting Recap of The Masked Singer UK Finale

Traditional sports betting has been popular in the UK and US for years. Entertainment betting is growing considerably more popular lately. Many are beginning to realize how easy it is to place bets on the results of their favorite television shows.

The finale of The Masked Singer season two ended with just three singers. Below are the results for each of them and their previous odds of winning.

Third Place – Robin: +150

Coming in third place of this season’s The Masked Singer is Robin. By the time the finale aired, many fans were certain it was Aston Merrygold underneath the mask. The odds reflected that idea at -500.

This turned out to be correct. Merrygold finally unveiled himself after performing “For Once in My Life” by Stevie Wonder. You can check out a clip of the big reveal below.

Robin had a solid run during the show. In the end, he was declared the third-place contestant. Those sure it was Nicky Byrne underneath the mask were left disappointed and Merrygold can rest easy knowing he gave it his all.

Second Place – Badger: +200

In second place was Badger. Some of those asking for this betting recap of The Masked Singer were curious about this singer’s odds to win the entire show. At +200, this could have paid off in a big way for bettors.

Many were also torn on who was underneath the Badger mask. The most common theory was Ne-Yo, with odds of +150. Many felt it could also be Peter Andre, at +200. A few viewers even predicted that Carl Fogarty would pull off the Badger’s mask with odds of +1000.

Below is the clip where Ne-Yo is finally revealed.

Badger was a betting favorite to win throughout the season. His final performance was with the song “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. It wasn’t quite enough to get the winning vote, though. He ended in second-place behind the slight underdog, Sausage.

First Place – Sausage: +400

Last, but certainly not least is Sausage, the declared winner of season two. The lone female in the finale came in as the biggest underdog to win at +400. This betting recap of The Masked Singer UK also revealed how close the odds were for who lied under the Sausage costume.

Joss Stone was listed as the -120 favorite. Sheridan Smith wasn’t far behind with odds of +200. The odds had it correct, though, as Stone was finally unveiled during the final episode. She was also declared the winner and ended the finale with an incredible performance of “Rise Up” by Andra Day.

Feel free to check out the clip below to see exactly how it happened.

Joss Stone, AKA Sausage, was fantastic throughout the entire season. She came in as the underdog but didn’t look like it in the end. It’s likely that many bettors ended up cashing out big-time with Sausage getting the win here.
