Week 16 of the 2020 NFL regular season concludes with an AFC East clash as the divisional winner the Buffalo Bills take on the New England Patriots.
Before the season started, schedule makers hoped this would be a big ratings win for MNF. Unfortunately, the Patriots have already been eliminated from Playoff contention and the Bills have now become the second best team in the AFC.

These two AFC East divisional rivals have played against each other 121 times with the Patriots leading the all-time series at 76-44-1. New England has dominated the Bills over the last two decades, but that all changed this season.

What a difference a season makes. This time last year, the Patriots were swatting the Bills from trying to win the AFC East. This year, the Bills have already clinched the division and are looking to sweep New England for the first time since 1999.

New England has nothing left to play for and could possibly start younger players to see what they have for next year. Buffalo still has plenty of motivation as they are trying to be one of the top two teams in the AFC and they would love to add another loss to their bitter divisional foe.
Buffalo’s defense has really turned the corner over the last month and they would love to beat up on New England this week. The Bills are allowing just over 21ppg and the Patriots are scoring just under 21ppg.
Meanwhile, the Bills are scoring 29.1ppg as QB Josh Allen is an MVP candidate with his stellar season so far. Allen has 4,000 passing yards, 30 TDs, 9 INTs, and 8 rushing TDs.
In the first contest, the Bills ran all over the Patriots to the tune of 190 yards. This week, I believe they will run, but also continue their scorching passing attack.
I see the Bills pulling away in the second half as they continue to show how good they really are. Buffalo is 7-1 SU in their last eight games and 6-0 ATS in their last six games. The Patriots are 4-8 ATS in their last 12 December games.
