MM Testlabs announced two new incorporations, Rachel Wilson and Jeffrey Begaye, to BMM’s Summer 2021 internship program in partnership with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES).

Under this strategic partnership, the company said it continues to support AISES’ core mission of increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.

Travis Foley, EVP, BMM Testlabs noted: “We are honored to be part of a program that supports education for Tribal students. It is our goal to provide both Rachel and Jeffrey with an experience that broadens their understanding of career opportunities in the gaming industry as well as providing valuable work experience.

“BMM prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Last year presented some challenges with the pandemic, but we are pleased to welcome Rachel and Jeffrey into our internship program. We’ve begun training over the past few weeks, and we’re already impressed with their skill sets, work ethic, and knowledge. We’re looking forward to providing hands-on gaming industry experience that is both valuable and memorable,” he concluded.

WIlson is a member of The Choctaw Nation and is a senior double majoring in computer science and organizational leadership management from The University of Arkansas.

She commented: “I’m looking forward to gaining experience and learning to adapt to a new place,” Rachel said. “BMM Testlabs headquarters is state of the art, and I can already tell there is so much for me to learn about the ins and outs of the gaming industry. The entire engineering team has been very welcoming, and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running!”

Begaye is a member of The Navajo Nation and is a senior majoring in computer science at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, also known as New Mexico Tech.

He stated: “I am learning a ton about different technology within the gaming industry,” Jeffrey added. “I am enjoying the opportunity to meet new people. I plan to make the most of this experience during my time in Las Vegas.”
