We have recently reported that some operators were contemplating a move toward cashless gambling in the wake of Coronavirus concerns. Now, Boyd Gaming has implemented the process at their Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana.

The process allows players to use their player card to access their “Resort Wallet” to play slot machines. If all goes well, the program may be expanded to include table games, restaurants, and other casino offerings.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many regulators have asked manufacturers to accelerate their cashless strategies. You can read more on the new cashless gambling program at Yogo Net.
