Caesars Entertainment announced Wednesday its sports wagering mobile app, Caesars Sportsbook, is now available for download and registration throughout Illinois. With full mobile registration officially live, eligible sports fans can now access mobile sports betting from anywhere in the state, which will host one of NCAA’s March Madness games at Chicago’s United Center.

Caesars Sportsbook offers bettors a betting experience with more options for wagering and an integration with the customer loyalty program, Caesars Rewards. The integration rewards sports bettors with Tier Credits and Reward Credits on every placed wager, which can be used to unlock bonus cash in the app as well as exclusive opportunities at Caesars destinations, including at locations across Illinois.

The company’s sign-up offer for its launch in Illinois grants a free bet equal to the amount of the first wager up to $1,100, provided the first one was not a winning bet.

Caesars has been present in Illinois, offering entertainment experiences, for decades through its gaming destinations, Harrah’s Joliet, Harrah’s Metropolis, and Grand Victoria Casino Elgin.

Caesars Sportsbook is also working to expand its footprint in the state through important local partnerships to be announced in the near future.

In an official press release, Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital, spoke about this launch and said: “We’re pleased to launch our best mobile sports wagering product and to reach more sports fans in Illinois. This is an important step for us as we continue to expand our offering of best-in-class rewards for sports fans across the state.”

This week, Illinois permanently eliminated the in-person registration requirement for statewide sports betting, just in time for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament March Madness. On the same day, BetMGM launched mobile sports betting operations in the state.
