Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, the former Harveys Lake Tahoe, has opened on the South Shore following a comprehensive, multi-phase redevelopment that introduced redesigned guest rooms, a modernized casino floor, new bars and lounges, dining venues, entertainment offerings and expanded meeting and event space.
The resort sits on the Nevada-California state line, with access to the beach, lake activities, Heavenly Mountain Resort, golf courses and other outdoor options. It is connected to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe through an easy-access connector, giving guests access to additional rooms, dining and entertainment. Together with Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the destination offers nearly 1,250 guest rooms in a year-round Sierra Nevada setting.
The property’s amenities include the High Dive Pool and Lounge, which features a heated pool, hot tubs and cabanas. The refreshed casino floor includes new slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit and poker experience, and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook.
Dining and nightlife venues at the resort include WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN, The Sage Room and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, developed in partnership with Clique Hospitality. The resort also includes Cleo’s Coffee and Cocktails, a day-to-night coffee and cocktail bar, along with newly designed bars including Centro and Celeste.
The property is also home to the Summer Concert Series at the Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic.

Caesars Entertainment marked the opening with a champagne reception and ceremonial ribbon-cutting in the Caesars Republic lobby, featuring Lisa Vanderpump, Carano, and other Caesars executives.
The event continued at Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, where Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure performed live rock n’ roll sets. The lounge also featured artistic elements during the opening event.
