Sports betting and media company Rivalry Corp announced on Monday its co-founder and CEO, Steven Salz, will participate in the OTC Markets Virtual Investor Conference, to be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022. The event is set to feature live presentations from CEOs and executives from iGaming, Entertainment eSports companies, including FansUnite‘s CEO Scott Burton.

Toronto-based Rivalry said its CEO will be delivering a live presentation at the event, which then will be followed by an investor Q&A session. Interested parties may access the live presentation, which will be conducted at 12:30 pm EDT, from the Virtual Investor Conferences website.

The conference is described as “an interactive event where investors are invited to ask the company questions in real-time.” If attendees are not able to join the event live on the day of the conference, an archived webcast will also be made available after the event.

“It is recommended that investors pre-register and run the online system check to expedite participation and receive event updates,” a press release says. Investors may learn more about the event and the series of virtual conferences hosted by OTC Markets at the Virtual Investor Conference’s website.

Rivalry Corp. wholly owns and operates Rivalry Limited, a sports betting and media property offering regulated online wagering on esports, traditional sports and casinos for what it describes as “the next generation of bettors.” Headquartered in Toronto, Rivalry has held an Isle of Man license since 2018, and also has a sports bookmaker license in Australia, and an internet gaming registration in Ontario.

Rivalry was among the first companies to debut in the new Ontario market, which launched iGaming and online sports betting on April 4. The market is the largest in the country and the first to take bets in a legal, private online gambling landscape.

The company’s online esports and traditional sports betting service are now live in the province. Rivalry has also launched a marketing campaign built around the theme: “Bet on Canada. Bet on Rivalry.” Local residents will be exposed to the brand through a holistic campaign featuring uniquely captivating visuals.

“We do things differently at Rivalry. We are aiming to be the sportsbook for the next generation through engaging content and innovative experiences that entertain and create loyal fans of Rivalry who come back for more,” said Salz earlier this month “To launch in our home market feels like a dream come true, and a very significant milestone in our creation of a leading global brand.”

Salz has previously talked about the sports and esports betting landscape with Yogonet in an exclusive interview centered around the much-discussed metaverse and the opportunities it opens to gaming brands. “It will change gambling from highly transactional and solitary to more entertainment-based and social,” he said.
