elasport announced Thursday that it has appointed Oren Cohen Shwartz as the company’s new Chief Executive, effective from August 8.
According to a press release, the company stated that it will benefit from Shwartz’s “industry expertise to the role of leading Delasport into the future”, with an aim to “elevate the company’s reach into target global industry markets”.
According to Shwartz’ LinkedIn profile, he has held positions as Skywind Group, where he acted as Managing Director; Superbet, where he was Group Director of Gaming; EveryMatrix, where he was VP Product & Corporate Development; and William Hill, in his role as Head of Innovation and Head of Operations.
Delasport described Oren as “a highly experienced executive in the iGaming industry. He has an excellent track record of building products that put player experience as a top priority”.
Shwartz commented on his appointment and said: “Delasport is well-positioned to succeed and I’m excited to be part of the team that makes it happen, as Dela’s Sports Betting and iGaming platform have the ability to adjust fast and to fit the market needs.”
“Delasport’s team is growing at a very rapid pace, and the company is hiring the most knowledgeable and highly qualified staff”, he added.
