DraftKings recently announced an exciting new deal with the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL, which names the sportsbook as the official sports betting and daily fantasy sports partner for the pro football team.
This is a multi-year deal that includes a number of exciting details for the team, the sportsbook, and the diehard Philly fans alike. It also comes on the heels of DraftKings signing a deal with Philly’s divisional rival the New York Giants. Yet, it appears that the Eagles might have beat the Giants in this aspect.
Naming Rights for Field Club
One of the most prominent aspects of this partnership is that DraftKings has been given the exclusive naming rights for the Field Club that is located at Lincoln Financial Field. It will now be called “The DraftKings Field Club”.
This lounge will provide visitors with the ultimate VIP experience on game day. Some of the features in the lounge include hospitality capabilities, an on-field viewing area, and other exclusive benefits. To get into the lounge, visitors will need a ticket. Clearly this won’t be open until fans are back in person.
More About This Deal
The deal also gives DraftKings the ability to use its name and branding on all the social media channels and digital platforms tied to the Eagles.
This covers everything from video boards, to in-game branding, practice livestreams, and the signs that appear at the stadium. It’s all about maximum exposure and no-one will be left wondering if the two have partnered up.
At the same time, viewers can expect a “strong branding presence” by DraftKings when it comes to the broadcasts affiliated with the Eagles. This includes the much anticipated NFL Draft Party which happens each year.
Ezra Kucharz, chief business officer of DraftKings, made the following comments about this new partnership:
“Be it fans at home, on the DraftKings mobile app, or inside Lincoln Financial Field, we look forward to introducing Eagles fans and DraftKings customers alike to an all-encompassing DraftKings experience.”
Fans Can Take Advantage of Great Incentives
From the fans’ point of view, there will be some great incentives to check out such as a brand new free-to-play game. The Eagles Stat Showdown will provide super fans with an extra level of engagement and fun along with the chance to win prizes.
The way that this game works is that you play for your chance to win $500 each week by getting the top score. Players will need to play weekly in order to qualify for the $5,000 grand prize.
