The wait is all over, fellas! BLAST Premier Fall betting opportunities are live with roughly 24 hours separating us from the first set of matches. We’ll be wrapping our heads around FURIA vs. G2 picks, a proper derby right off the bat; the match that could decide a lot of things in the bottom end of the bracket.

THE FALL FINAL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER 💥

This is the penultimate CSGO event of 2020, so it’s not to be taken for granted! Especially considering the fact the winner gets a spot in the BLAST Premier Global Final scheduled for January! Only eight teams will participate in this one, with a whopping $1 million in the prize pool.

Enough with the Global Finals, though – we’re here for the Fall Finals, a slightly less lucrative event possessing outstanding betting opportunities!

FURIA vs. G2 Betting Predictions

Let’s take this section of our FURIA vs. G2 picks and use it to recap the latest head-to-head fixture between these two. The occasion was more than appropriate – upper bracket round 2, a direct fight for a place in the playoffs.

As you all know, FURIA took the big W… but it wasn’t as difficult as many had hoped. VINI and the company took G2 down on Inferno without even breaking a sweat. The Brazilian machinery proved to be way too difficult for G2 to contain. G2 did their best on the CT side, taking six maps all thanks to KennyS and NiKo. On the T side, they just couldn’t break FURIA’s defensive lines.

If you love maps that feature superstars in all of their might, then Mirage is something you must watch (or watch again, if you’ve seen it live). NiKo was absolutely crazy, snatching 33 kills and a 1.84 HLTV rating. HuNter and KennyS were in the equation too (twenty kills each), which was just enough for G2 to secure the third map.

Unfortunately, NiKo and the company disappeared on Nuke. The luck of the draw didn’t fancy them as they were dropped to the T side in the first half. The half ended with 11:4 and there was no way back for G2!

As far as our FURIA vs. G2 picks are concerned, we won’t just focus on this h2h match but on other recent matches, individual strengths, and map pool depth… although I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them square off on these three maps again. All these things are important when betting on CSGO, which is why we won’t take any of them for granted!

Form

Let’s talk about the form! Form means a great deal in the CSGO esports sphere! It’s basically momentum we’re talking about here; we all know just how much it means in tightly contested CSGO matchups. Recent campaigns, recent matches… heck, even recent maps can make all the difference when compared to teams’ map preferences and individual gameplay.

As far as form goes, FURIA is obviously the better side here. The Brazilians have won three events since August, whereas G2 is yet to win an event this year. Truth be told, FURIA’s titles were all based in North America where the competition isn’t anywhere near as tough as it is in Europe. FURIA’s first European exhibition perfectly sums up the equation – FURIA got eliminated from BLAST Premier Fall Regular Season without a single win.

Map Depth

There’s not much to talk about in terms of map pool depth. After all, we’ve seen how their map ban and pick went last week. They ended up playing on the maps we all (more or less) expected them to opt for. Inferno was always going in favor of FURIA. Heck, the Brazilians haven’t lost a map in seven on Inferno.

With NiKo in the starting lineup, G2 has improved its stats on Mirage. They’re five and null at the moment, and will probably want to extend their run against FURIA tomorrow. The decider map is still an unknown figure. Perhaps we see Nuke again, perhaps they opt for Vertigo… or hopefully – Dust 2! Either way, we’re in for a spectacular match here!

Roster Strengths and Weaknesses

When talking about the rosters, we need to address the elephant in the room and say a thing or two about NiKo! Yes, I know I’m boring you to death by constantly mentioning the biggest transfer in CSGO history, but it’s of key-value for our FURIA vs. G2 picks! We need to account for NiKo’s individual brilliance. Heck, he was the start of the show on Mirage last time out – if it wasn’t for his thirty-three kills, there’s no way G2 would’ve made it to the decider map.

VINI was the difference maker for FURIA on Inferno with 1.29 KPR in 24 rounds and 8 multikills.#DHMasters

If we see an exact replay here (same three maps), we need to mention VINI’s Inferno gameplay. The man is just too darn good… and what’s even worse (for G2) is the fact yuurih and KSCERATO are statistically far more dangerous on other maps. Both teams have decent rosters, but I have to give G2 the benefit of the doubt here… if not for NiKo, then for the extra motivator that is revenge!

FURIA vs. G2 Picks

$100 Could Win You…$194.34

I just have to side with NiKo and the boys here! They’re ready for proper revenge, and I think we can all see it coming. FURIA had a solid run of form in Europe, but it’s likely to end tomorrow when Niko and the boys sweep through them… assuming maLeK does a good job with the strategy.

We’re going to see another tight contest here, so if you don’t fancy G2’s chances as much as I do, perhaps going with total maps over 2.5 at -112 is more up your alley. It’s a viable alternative to our final FURIA vs. G2 picks, that’s for sure!

That would be all for today, folks!

Thanks for reading the whole thing – hope our FURIA vs. G2 picks yield good results!

Until next time…
