G2 vs Endpoint Pick – G2 to Win 2:0 (-106)

There’s no time to recharge, boys and girls! The CSGO betting scene is merciless, coming back with yet another important event just two days after the end of the thirteenth ESL Pro League season. This time around, we’re not even looking at the final stage of a series. Instead, BLAST Premier Spring Showdown is sort of like the last chance stage.

The very first round brings forth a sweet matchup between G2 and Endpoint. Obviously, NiKo and the boys are the heavy favorites. But, we shouldn’t count Endpoint out right away. They might not belong to the upper echelons of the CSGO scene, but they definitely won’t go down without a fight.

G2 vs. Endpoint Betting Preview

Have these two ever played a match before? Yes, they have! It was back in October last year when G2 won 2:0 on Inferno and Vertigo. We have to mention, though, that both maps could’ve gone either way. 16:12 and 16:13 weren’t all that impressive, you have to admit.

But, we won’t base our G2 vs. Endpoint predictions solely on this match and nothing else. That’s not how we roll! There’s plenty of stuff we need to go through, so why don’t we start off with some raw statistics in the map pool section?

Map Depth

Endpoint aren’t known for having a massive map pool. At the moment, their stats suggest superiority on Inferno and Overpass. Unfortunately for them, Inferno is G2’s strongest map and Overpass is their permaban. So yeah, right off the bat, things aren’t looking good for Endpoint!

They’re going to hope for a strong game on Train, seeing as that could be a mismatch. G2 have just one win in their last five outings on Train; that’s surely a map Endpoint will consider going into this one.

But, if all five of them aren’t on the same wavelength tomorrow, G2 is likely to emerge on top!

Individual Qualities

G2 is the obvious winner here. NiKo, nexa, huNter – the trio magnifico is not to be taken for granted in situations like these. They are mechanically gifted, they all have excellent game sense, and don’t even get me started on NiKo’s clutch potential. G2 is superior in terms of individual player qualities, that’s for sure!

Though, we have to mention CRUC1AL. The 24-year-old AWPer has been in fine form lately. He has to be the man maLeK will point out ahead of tomorrow’s fixture. Even though they don’t have that much fragging potential, if CRUC1AL starts getting key kills, G2 might be in for a tough time…

Wrapping Things Up

I guess the only thing left to talk about here is the form! G2 have been all but solid thus far this year. They had four disappointing campaigns; one more and we could see more roster alterations. Remember, KennyS is no longer a part of the team; AmaNek and jaCkz are there to support the Balkan trio… and if they can’t do it, someone else might step in.

As for Endpoint, they’re finally getting that much-needed consistency against tier-B teams. However, as far as top-tier opponents go, the only ones they’ve managed to beat lately are Fnatic and EG. Two notable scalps, you have to admit. It’s nothing to write home about, but it still needed to be said before closing out our G2 vs. Endpoint predictions.

In fact, I reckon we’re almost done here. Here’s a quick look at the concrete stuff before moving onto the elaboration!

G2 vs. Endpoint Pick

Pick: G2 to Win 2:0

Odds: -106

$100 Could Win You…$194.34

There’s no value in G2 match-winner! Though I’m not that big on correct score wagers, nothing else made sense here. G2 to win 2:0 at -106 is what I recommend here. G2 will come into this match with a wicked attitude; they’re going to try and hype themselves up for Astralis in the second round… which should translate to a resounding 2:0 win.

That’d be all from our G2 vs. Endpoint picks! This match ought to be a fine start to BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Fingers crossed both G2 and Astralis overcome their opening-round fixtures so we can prepare ourselves for a proper clash in the second round.

Cheers!
