ccording to the president of Coljuegos, Juan B. Pérez Hidalgo, this agreement, in which the cybercrime division of the National police will also be involved, will initiate the relevant process to sanction illegal gaming sites, which have been repeatedly requested to bring their operations into compliance.

We will track those domains, some of them based overseas, to block them and prevent them from damaging our local industry,” Pérez Hidalgo said.

According to Coljuegos, 4,131 illegal websites have been blocked to date, and new measures will be implemented to limit the access of foreign sites, in an attempt to protect licensed operators in Colombia.
