Developer and supplier of iGaming solutions Greentube has strengthened its existing partnership with Betsson, the company announced on Tuesday. Thanks to the deal, Greentube has now taken its content live with the Swedish online gaming operator in Argentina.

The launch marks Greentube’s debut in the now regulated region of Buenos Aires City. The NOVOMATIC Interactive division will be making a selection of the supplier’s best-performing titles available to Betsson’s customers in the market.

“It is very exciting for us to introduce our content in Argentina and we are thrilled to make our market debut together with our trusted partner Betsson,” said Lisa Sandner, Sales & Key Account Manager for Argentina at Greentube. “Going live in Buenos Aires is an important part of expanding our presence in LatAm where we have already gained a lot of traction and the local audience has embraced our content.”

Among the content now live in the market are fan-favorite titles Lucky Lady’s Charm, Sizzling Hot, Book of Ra deluxe and Star Supreme. Additionally, content from Greentube’s bingo offering has also gone live, with the vertical being “extremely popular” with local players, according to a press release.

The Argentina launch isn’t the only market in which both parties have collaborated. Greentube describes Betsson as a “long-standing partner” across numerous iGaming markets worldwide. The recent expansion will see this relation “further strengthened,” Greentube claims.

Additionally, the launch with Betsson in Argentina follows a period of strong global growth for Greentube. The supplier entered a range of several new markets last year across Europe, North America, Africa and LatAm.

The company’s content has been performing particularly strongly in Latin America regions and markets, including Paraguay and Colombia. Meanwhile, in Argentina, local players are already familiar with Greentube’s titles from land-based casino venues.

“From our existing partnership we know that our customers enjoy playing Greentube’s premium content and we are very happy to be the first operator to launch their games in Argentina,” stated Laura Peretta, Supplier Relations Manager at Betsson. “This is a very exciting region for iGaming and we are dedicated to offering players the best experience. With Greentube’s content we significantly increase our offering in the country.”

iGaming and mobile sports betting launched in Buenos Aires in December last year, thus concluding the long path towards regulation of one of the most important markets, economically speaking, of Argentina. At a national level, Buenos Aires joined other jurisdictions where iGaming was already allowed, such as Mendoza, Santa Fe and Corrientes.

Betsson debuted its online gaming operations in Buenos Aires City and province early last month. “Whilst the land-based gambling market is very mature in Argentina, online gambling is still relatively new and thereby represents significant potential for Betsson in the country,” stated the company at the time.
