International Game Technology (IGT) announced Monday that its Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks and Powerbucks slots paid out seven massive jackpots totaling more than $10 million in July.
Winners were awarded the following $1 million+ jackpots last month:
- On July 4, a Megabucks slots player won $3,603,575 playing Megabucks Double Diamond Deluxe at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, Calif.
- On July 8, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,431,303 playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Red Hot 7’s at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nev.
- On July 21, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,541,533 playing Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Exotic Far East at Clearwater River Casino in Lewiston, ID.
- On July 24, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,396,641 playing Wheel of Fortune Red White & Blue at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
- On July 25, an online Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,263,743 playing Wheel of Fortune Latin Getaways in Ontario, Canada.
- On July 29, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,262,135 playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Red Hot 7’s at Sunset Station Hotel & Casino in Henderson, Nev.
- On July 29, an online Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,032,361 playing Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Exotic Far East in British Columbia, Canada.
IGT Megabucks slots have paid more than $1 billion since their inception in 1986, the company explains, while IGT Powerbucks slots have paid 40 jackpots of $1 million or more since their Canadian debut in 2016. Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1,100 millionaires and awarded over $3.4 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996.
The Wheel of Fortune slot is inspired by the popular Wheel of Fortune TV program, which reaches more than 25 million weekly viewers. Trademarked as America’s Game, it has earned seven Emmy Awards including a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show.
IGT’s Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots also awarded three $1 million+ jackpots in June to lucky players at the Golden Gate Casino in Las Vegas and playing online in Quebec.
