Amid the Delta variant surge of Coronavirus, many are wondering if Las Vegas Covid testing and vaccine proof will become a requirement at casinos. The Centers for Disease Control is reporting that Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans has become the first in the nation to require guests to show this proof before being allowed to enter. The property is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.

However, the New Orleans decision comes amidst new vaccine requirements from the mayor. Those requirements also apply to indoor dining, bars, and other forms of indoor entertainment. Those who want access to those establishments will also be required to produce proof of their vaccination or negative Covid test results.

Worth noting is that the thought of Las Vegas casinos requiring vaccination proof has already been reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. And we recently published an article detailing how MGM is already requiring workers who refuse to get vaccinated to pay for their own Covid testing.

Additionally, there are already a few shows and events requiring either a negative Las Vegas Covid test or proof of vaccination. Recently, the Nevada Governor  stated that he did not want to impose more restrictions, but did not rule them out if the state vaccination rate does not improve.
