asinos and other gambling venues in Lima will remain closed until new COVID-19 cases decline or new measures allow them to reopen their doors.

The gambling sector has not been included in the Peruvian government’s reopening plan scheduled for March, which does cover shopping malls, restaurants, and hair salons. Moreover, the authorities’ new curfew will run between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., and free movement will be restricted on Sundays.

These restrictions have been imposed in regions with extreme risk, such as Lima’s metropolitan area.
