March Madness Events Hit Las Vegas

The NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament begins this week, and March Madness events are taking over Las Vegas! Where are all the watch parties on the Strip and down on Fremont Street? Plus, basketball is not the only game headed to Las Vegas!

The Las Vegas Grand Prix may be 8 months away, but tickets have already gone on sale. More on that in just a moment. Up first, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament kicks off this week, and whether you’re headed to Las Vegas or staying home to place a few bets, we’ve got you covered. Keeping in mind that these videos are made for recreational players who just want to have some fun, we start in Las Vegas where you can bet on the tournament pretty much anywhere… but if you want to watch the tournament in style you may have to walk just a bit to any of several locations around town.

Starting on the Strip, where there will be a variety of March Madness events and watch parties and events… from the all you can eat specials at the Aria to simply lying poolside at Fontainebleau. If you would rather Rock the Hoops on the Strip then head over to Caesar’s Palace, while the Brackets at the Stadium is happening at the Venetian. You can also take your experience up a level and head to the rooftop party at the Paris!

Speaking of rooftops, we haven’t forgotten about downtown resorts. You’ll find March Madness parties at both The D and Palace Station, plus our friends at Circa are running Mania Under the Sun up on their rooftop at Stadium Swim! Now, if you didn’t catch all of that don’t worry. You where you can find that information right here on our website.

Now, let’s say that you can’t make it to Las Vegas in time for the March Madness events. Well, that shouldn’t be a problem, considering there are now 38 states with legalized sports betting! In fact, it’s getting to the point where it’s easier to list the 12 states that don’t have sports betting: Alaska, Alabama, California, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Utah. If you’re unlucky enough to live in one of these states, I have just two words for you: Road trip!

Also, we just released an exciting new game review for the Dragon Train Slot Machine from Light & Wonder! Rolling out in four versions, players love this new game that comes with a hold and spin, sticky reels, and the Cash Cluster game feature! Dragon Train is currently rolling out to these locations around Las Vegas: Boulder Station, Durango Casino, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Peppermill Resort, Red Rock Casino, Santa Fe Station, and Sunset Station. The game is also debuting at other locations in California, Florida, Minnesota, and more!

And finally this week, whether of not you participate in any March Madness events in Vegas or not, you may want to attend the Las Vegas Grand Prix this November, you better get a move on because tickets are already on sale now! And despite the sticker shock of last year’s tickets, I’ve already seen some available for under $400 a day at online ticket agencies. However, if you’d like a better view of the race, standing room only tickets are available through the  F1 website starting at over $1,000. Of course, that’s for a three-day ticket with food and drink included. You high rollers might want to opt for the Sky Box, which is $10,500. And if you want to sit down while you’re in the Sky Box, well then you’re looking at close to $13,000. But hey, it’s only money.
