Merkur Gaming has issued a statement highlighting the “overwhelming” positive response from visitors and exhibitors to the 2023 edition of the Peru Gaming Show, which also responded favorably to the company’s showcase at the event. 

According to the company, the event was hailed as “a truly exceptional gathering,” potentially ranking as the best in the 20-year history of the Lima-based gaming B2B presentation. The 20th anniversary of PGS, held earlier this month, was also of significant importance for Merkur Gaming, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Merkur Gaming Peru

Peru Gaming Show also saw a showcase by PGS Merkur, featuring a diverse range of products from their portfolio in the biggest booth space at the event. Among the highlights were the Linked Jackpots Link Zone 2, Solar Link, and the Egyptian-themed Five, which boasts five cash pot towers. Merkur Mystery, the latest addition to the Merkur portfolio, was also a crowd favorite among Peruvian players.

Ronald Diaz, General Manager of Merkur Gaming Peru, emphasized the significance of Merkur Mystery as a key product for the team. He stated: “The Merkur multigames are consistent winners that have a track record of success here in Peru. With the addition of Merkur Mystery, we now have an even more attractive proposition for players and a huge attraction for operators’ gaming floors.”

The Lima-based team received support from exhibition specialists from Europe and representatives from other Merkur subsidiary companies across Latin America. The Merkur booth also featured a popular lounge area where visitors could relax, engage in one-on-one conversations with Merkur team members, and enjoy food and beverage hospitality.

Diaz expressed his gratitude to the catering team for their hard work, noting that visitors greatly enjoyed and appreciated their efforts. He further remarked on the warm hospitality of Peru, which was effectively recreated at PGS.

In addition to Merkur Gaming, sister companies GeWeTe, renowned cash handling experts, and edict, online gaming innovators, also showcased their products at PGS. edict impressed attendees with their innovations under the slogan “Online Gambling: made in Germany.”

The 20th-anniversary edition of the Peru Gaming Show proved to be a resounding success, according to the company’s statement. The dates for the 21st edition in June 2024 have already been announced, and the company expects next year’s expo to be a success as well.
