Football is back!

2020 has been a weird year for everybody, so there’s nothing sports fans and bettors deserve more than the return of the NFL season. The festivities get kicked off on Thursday night with a matchup between the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans, while a full slate of action is set to follow this weekend.

It’s the best time of year to be a sports bettor. Between the beginning of football season, the ongoing NBA and NHL playoffs, and a Major League Baseball season in full swing, bettors have plenty of options out there to keep them busy.

MyBookie is kicking off the 2020 NFL season with a few unique real money sports betting contests. There are three different contests already open, while another is set to open in the coming days. MyBookie is among the most reputable NFL betting sites available to American bettors, and with good reason.

Let’s take a look at some of MyBookie’s NFL contests, shall we?

$15,000 Squares Contest

If you’ve been to a Super Bowl party in the past, you’re likely familiar with Squares, which is one of the most popular ways to bet on the action. MyBookie.ag is hosting a $15,000 Squares game just in time for football season.

You can’t use bonus money to enter the Squares contest, but you can use the funds already in your MyBookie betting account. To enter, you simply pick as many squares as you want from the game board before submitting your risk amount. Nobody else will be able to purchase the same square once your bet is finalized.

Numbers will not be assigned until after the contest fills, which means there isn’t much strategy involved. All contests are guaranteed to run and pay out in full regardless of whether all 100 squares on the board are filled ahead of time. Your winnings will be paid out in cash to your MyBookie account immediately after the contest ends.

The scoring system is the same as the Squares games you’ve played during the Super Bowl. The total score for each team at the end of every quarter of a game determines the winners. If your square matches the last number of both teams’ scores at the end of every quarter, you win!

For Example:

If the score at the end of the third quarter of the game is Chiefs 24, Texans 10, the player whose square matches the No. 4 for the Chiefs and No. 0 for the Texans is the winner. The final game score total includes overtime scoring, if necessary.

The winner for each of the first three quarters will earn 20 percent of the total prize pool, while the winner of the final score receives 40 percent of the prize pool!

$300,000 SuperContest

MyBookie’s $300,000 SuperContest is open right now with a buy-in of $100! This is the second year of MyBookie’s SuperContest, which features a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. First place will take home $100,000.

Any player with a MyBookie account can register to play with the aforementioned $100 entry fee. You may enter a maximum of five entries into the SuperContest, and all entries are treated separately for prize distribution.

The $300,000 SuperContest gets underway on September 10 with the Chiefs-Texans game, and it will end on December 29. All you have to do is pick winning teams against the spread every week using MyBookie’s NFL betting odds.

Each player must select five teams to cover the spread per entry every week. Any player that picks less than five games will only earn the points for the games they pick, and any player that fails to submit a pick will not accrue any points.

You can submit and edit your picks all week long leading up to the games’ scheduled kickoff times. The odds for every pick lock at the time you finalize your wager, but if you unselect a game you may only re-submit that bet at the new, up-to-date odds. You have to pick five unique games, which means you can’t pick the same team more than once in a week. You may also not select both sides of the same game in the same entry.

Each correct pick counts as one point on the leaderboard. Any push results in 0.5 points. The leaderboard is updated after every game ends over the course of a season. The players that accrue the most points over the course of the full season will win. The top-230 finishers will win, and the payout structure is listed below:

  • 1st – $125,000
  • 2nd – $22,500
  • 3rd – $10,000
  • 4th – $7,500

  • 136th-160th – $250
  • 161st-185th – $225
  • 186th-$230th – $200

The game will also pay out winners on a quarterly basis. The first-place finisher is paid out $12,500 every four weeks from Week 1 through Week 16.

$100,000 SuperContest

MyBookie is also offering a more affordable SuperContest with just a $10 buy-in. The game features all of the same rules as the $300,000 version, though players can enter as many as 10 submissions in the $100,000 game. This game will also pay out the top-750 finishers at season’s end.

The payout structure for the $100,000 SuperContest is listed below:

  • 1st – $25,000
  • 2nd – $12,500
  • 3rd – $5,000
  • 4th – $2,500
  • 5th – $1,500

  • 7th – $500
  • 8th -$400
  • 9th – $300
  • 10th – $200
  • 11th-100th – $100
  • 101st-500th – $50
  • 501st-750th – $20

MyBookie’s $100,000 SuperContest will also pay out the top finishers on a quarterly basis, with first-place earning another $5,000 every four weeks.

$100,000 Survivor Contest

Starting in Week 1, MyBookie is also hosting a $100,000 Survivor Contest! Every week, players must pick just one team to win its game, regardless of point spreads. If you pick the correct winner, you advance to the next week.

If your selection loses the game or their game ends in a tie, your entry is eliminated. The player(s) that pick the winning teams for the longest amount of time without a losing pick will win. The contest ends after Week 17 of the regular season, or whenever there is only one entrant still alive. The Survivor Contest features a $100,000 winner-take-all top prize.

If the contest ends with no surviving players, the players with live entries heading into the final week of the season will split the $100,000 prize pool. If multiple players advance all the way through Week 17 unscathed, they will also split the prize!

Any pick you make for a game that gets canceled or postponed ahead of time that doesn’t get played before the following Wednesday will be declared a loser.

MyBookie is going all-out in advance of the NFL season, so get in on these contests while you still can!
