MyBookie’s March Madness Bracket Challenge

It’s March, which can only mean one thing: March Madness!

You may remember that last year’s NCAA basketball tournament was canceled. March of 2020 was dreadful for many reasons, but the absence of March Madness was one of the main things that made the month drag on for what seemed like forever.

Fortunately, March Madness is back in 2021. The NCAA tournament will look a little different this year, but the games will go on. The big dance gets underway on March 18, and the games will be held at various “bubble” sites around Indiana. The Final Four and National Championship Game will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

March Madness is one of the biggest sports betting events of the year, too. In fact, the Super Bowl is the only single sporting event that draws more betting interest in the United States. With more and more states legalizing sports betting, it’s safe to assume that this year’s tournament will set all sorts of records when it comes to betting interest.

Perhaps we can use the NCAA tournament to bring us together as a country. Regardless of your political or religious beliefs, just about everyone loves filling out a March Madness bracket, right? While most people do so without putting money on the line, the games are a lot more fun to watch when you have some skin in the game.

MyBookie is going above and beyond with its bracket offerings this year. MyBookie is hosting a $100,000 MyBracket Contest. All you have to do is fill out your NCAA tournament bracket as accurately as possible, and you’ll be eligible to share a chunk of the massive prize pool!

How To Play MyBookie’s Bracket Challenge

The game is simple. If you’ve filled out a bracket before, you know the rules by now. The Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament features 63 games in all. Your task is to pick as many of those games correctly as possible. Point spreads, moneylines, and totals aren’t involved here. All you have to do is pick outright winners. Easy enough, right?

Points are awarded for every correct pick you make. Point totals increase as the tournament progresses, which makes your correct picks later in the tourney count for more!

The full scoring system is as follows:

  • 1 point for every correct pick in the first round
  • 2 points for every correct pick in the second round
  • 4 points for every correct pick in the Sweet 16
  • 8 points for every correct pick in the Elite 8
  • 16 points for every correct pick in the Final Four
  • 32 points for picking the winner of the National Championship Game

As is the case with a normal bracket contest, you have to pick all of these games before the tournament begins. You can’t go round-by-round and pick winners after the matchups are set. This obviously adds a degree of difficulty to the game, but the massive payouts make it worth your while.

How Much Can I Win Playing in the MyBookie Bracket Challenge?

The MyBracket Contest will officially open on Monday, March 15. That’s when you can start to make your picks. You have up until Friday, March 19, at 12:00 pm ET. At that point, any blank entries will be declared void and will not be eligible for any prizes. So, you have almost a full week to make your picks. You can adjust your bracket at any time between March 15 and March 19 at noon. After that, your picks are set in stone.

The MyBracket Contest only costs $10 to enter, and each customer is eligible to purchase at least 10 entries.

So, you can fire several different bullets in an attempt to maximize your winnings! You can purchase your entries using your MyBookie bankroll.

The top 750 finishers will earn prizes. Winnings will be automatically deposited into MyBookie accounts after the tournament is over. The payout structure is listed below:

  • 1st – $25,000
  • 2nd – $12,500
  • 3rd – $5,000
  • 4th – $2,500
  • 5th – $1,500
  • 6th – $700
  • 7th – $500
  • 8th – $350
  • 9th – $250
  • 10th – $150
  • 11th-100th – $100
  • 101st-500th – $75
  • 501st-750th – $50

The “First Four” games that take place on Thursday, March 18, will not be included in the MyBracket Contest. The festivities officially get underway with the first round on March 19, so get those picks in while you still can! There is all sorts of money to be made betting on March Madness 2021 at MyBookie. What are you waiting for?
