The first two days of the last notable CSGO event of 2020 are all done and dusted. The second day paved the way for a major surprise, BIG defeated Astralis 2:0, following a nail-biter on Vertigo. Yep, that means Astralis has to go up against Vitality to secure a spot in the semifinals against the better of NaVi vs. Liquid. Oh, what a match that one’s going to be!

The second day of the #IEM Global Challenge has come to an end.

Fear not, we’ll be back with top tier Counter-Strike starting at 15:30 CET tomorrow!

See you then! 👋 pic.twitter.com/sQ6D1ZBB5v

As the title suggests, NaVi vs. Liquid picks are what we’re here for today! The winner of this matchup goes up against the winner of Astralis vs. Vitality. That said, I honestly can’t say which matchup I’d love to see more.

What’s to be expected from this one? Well, it’s probably not going to be a 2:0 blowout on either end, that I can already tell you. I’m still not sure if that’s the way our NaVi vs. Liquid picks are going to swing towards, which is why we’re going to take a closer look and see what both of these teams are all about!

NaVi vs. Liquid Betting Predictions

Are you guys ready to place a few CSGO bets and you’re not sure what to choose? Well, you’re at the right place, that’s for sure! As said earlier, NaVi and Liquid are here fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Semifinals, to be more precise! The losing team isn’t eliminated, though. The losing team gets sent to the decider match where they’ll go up against the better of FURIA vs. Heroic.

NaVi and Liquid have played just once this year. It was way back in late February on IEM Katowice when Liquid defeated them in the quarterfinals. NaVi went on to win the event. Fun fact – that’s NaVi’s only notable title in 2020! Can they snatch a second one here?

Form

Let’s be real here – 2020 has been one big disappointment for both of these teams. However, NaVi seems to be one step ahead of the NA team because they’ve already cemented their place on the January-bound BLAST Premier Global Finals.

Liquid isn’t there just yet! They need to up their game because BIG are already in the semifinals. If they reach the grand finals, that’s where things get really interesting… especially for FURIA who have to make their way through the group stage too…

There are lots of possible scenarios so let’s not go that far into the future. Let’s turn our attention back to NaVi vs. Liquid picks and continue with the info. Next up – map pool depth!

Map Depth

Now, map pool depth is where things get interesting. Map pool depth is the section that will complicate our NaVi vs. Liquid picks but could at the same time provide plenty of additional value too. It all depends on how we arrange things in the end!

Let’s start off with the maps Liquid’s been better on than NaVi – Dust 2, Nuke, Overpass, and Vertigo. Yep, four maps; Vertigo is Liquid’s permaban so that leaves us with three. However, NaVi is at above 50% on all three maps, it’s just that Liquid’s at 75% on Dust 2 and 89% on Nuke.

As for NaVi, they’re statistically better than Liquid on Inferno and Train. As you probably know, Liquid doesn’t play train so that leaves the CIS side with nothing but Inferno… and judging by Liquid’s stats, that one could be tightly contested!

Roster Quality

I have to side with NaVi here, even though Team Liquid’s Stewie2K finally showed up for the occasion against Heroic. I mean, they have S1mple, case closed! The man had another superb match against FURIA. He ended the 2:0 blowout with 56 kills and a 1.49 HLTV rating. Not only is he pulling these displays off, but he’s doing them more and more frequently. ZywOo has got quite the competition, that’s for sure!

Back to NaVi vs. Liquid picks – another reason I give NaVi the benefit of the doubt here is that EliGE is still MIA. Liquid will need their star player to show up tomorrow, otherwise they won’t pose as any real trouble for the CIS side.

With everything that’s been said thus far, we’ve come to a close. Here’s what I got in store for you:

NaVi vs. Liquid Picks

There’s no way Liquid takes this one and advances to the playoffs without breaking a sweat! They’re the boys in blue, it’s in their job description to complicate things, not just for themselves but for their fans too!

At -286, perhaps NaVi match-winner doesn’t really possess that much value. If you’re out value-hunting, NaVi to win 2:1 might be what you’re looking for. At the moment, it’s at +180, pretty valuable if you consider the teams’ map pool discrepancies.

$100 Could Win You…$134.97

That’s it from our NaVi vs. Liquid picks!

The match starts in roughly 20 hours so you better get them bets in before it’s too late!
