Verdict: All too often disappoint on the pitch; rarely off it with another beauty. 8/10.

Ajax away

Verdict: Bit too try hard for a club that are usually effortlessly cool. 6/10.

Bayern Munich away

Verdict: It’s typically Bayern. And all the better for it. 7/10.

Brighton & Hove Albion home

Verdict: Traditionalists will wince, but it harks back to their 80s heyday and they were due a change up. 9/10.

Chelsea home

Verdict: A slow burner that really starts to grow on you. We’ll love it by September. 7/10.

Verdict: OK, so we might be a little biased, but it’s a cracking effort, literally. 10/10.
