Acres Manufacturing’s program considers the losses the skill factor implies for casinos

cres Manufacturing announced Wednesday its new Optimal Poker Analyzer, which has been designed for casinos to maximize profit on video poker.

The new system enables casinos to develop a strategy of optimization of marketing and operations through the analysis of decisions made in video poker.

Acres Manufacturing’s Foundation casino management system, which the software interfaces to, provides granular data on every hand played. Optimal Poker Analyzer accesses the actual card values as they are dealt, and instantly recognizes the optimal play strategy for each hand.

The company’s latest release was conceived taking into consideration the losses that the skill factor implies for casinos, as advantage players are able to achieve a positive expected return. This is deepened when factoring markets offer such as free play or other rewards, designed to encourage play.

Noah Acres, of Acres Manufacturing, spoke about Optimal Poker Analyzer as a proof of “the true value of every video poker player and ranks all players according to skill level and profitability”.

Acres explained that casinos assign an individual marketing budget to each player, funded by the value of the player’s errors. “With Optimal Poker Analyzer, casinos can specifically market to high value patrons with no risk of exposure to advantage players,” he pointed out.
