FBM Digital Systems CEO Roberto Regianini, in an exclusive interview with Yogonet

oberto Regianini, an executive with more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, took over earlier this year as CEO of FBM Digital Systems (FBMDS), FBM’s special unit for the online channel. After more than a year of pandemic, the company was able to attend its first in-person trade event, CasinoBeats Summit, which took place on July 14 and 15 in Malta. Regianini shared with Yogonet details of the products they presented and his dissertation.

What are the main characteristics of the four novelties that FBM Digital Systems showcased at CasinoBeats Summit: Multi Mega, Plus 3, Multi Plus, and Multi Champion?

These video bingo games were just four of the novelties that FBMDS brought to CasinoBeats Summit, and they are remakes of FBM’s greatest hits in the land-based casino market.

Multi Mega, Plus 3, Multi Plus and Multi Champion feature revamped graphics and offer a chance to hit the jackpot if the bingo pattern is completed by drawing the first 30 balls, but the highlight is the introduction of the free game that reproduces bonus typology.

Players must complete a pattern to access this bonus that benefits them with a minimum of 11 free spins, during which they can win prizes if they achieve the patterns defined in the table. The number of free games can be further increased if the player achieves the free-games pattern during the bonus game mode.

How has this return to in-person events been?

The feeling is very positive. It’s good to see many familiar faces again to share perspectives and discuss the present and future of this industry. Obviously, during the last year, we have maintained our businesses and kept in touch with our contacts online, but it is good to have the opportunity to talk in person, discuss ideas and present the work that we have been developing with the FBMDS brand.

In addition to the presentation of new products, you participated as a speaker and anticipated the company’s plans for Latin America. What were the highlights of your panel speech? Has the company closed any agreement yet?

It was a very enriching panel because we were able to discuss useful topics for providers, online casinos, and other operators who want to strengthen their presence or enter the Latin American markets. The main conclusion was that to create successful solutions operators have to, more and more, abandon the one-size-fits-all approach and really start studying each country.

Only after this thorough research, and including the results of it in the final product, does it make sense to enter each market, since this is the only way that allows us to provide games and solutions with real value for online casinos and, at the same time, enrich their players.

The personalized approach, dedicated and attentive to the needs and specificities of each market, is part of the DNA of FBMDS. For this reason, we offer country-specific bets, such as video bingo in Brazil. Regarding the agreements, we have strengthened our presence in several online casinos in this region, where our games are already available and we will soon launch new titles. Additionally, we have more integrations scheduled that will be announced in the coming months.

What is the confirmed schedule of events for the remainder of the year?

We can confirm the presence of FBMDS at G2E Las Vegas, on October 4-7. We are also considering attending other events scheduled for this year and will most likely have news on the matter in the next few weeks.

The FBMDS portfolio includes video bingo, slots, table games, and video poker.
