T

he event has been classified as one of the most important in the sector after top industry leaders confirmed assistance for the first time.

Peruvian gaming authorities, trade associations, suppliers, and operators, will gather together to share industry insights and delve into the impact of the ongoing health crisis.

The gaming industry has been shut down for over 150 days and a potential date for the resumption of operations still remains uncertain, as it depends on the evolution of the pandemic. Regulatory bodies and trade associations have already urged the government to allow for the restart of gaming operations, and if that occurs, part of the 80,000 employees who have been furloughed will be able to go back to work and the government will continue to obtain tax revenue it stopped collecting during the shutdown.

On the first day, the forum will feature top renowned exhibitors such as Manuel San Roman Benavente (Mincetur), Fernando Calderon (SONAJA), Alberto D´Angelo (APADELA). Representatives of the major brands and operators in the industry will also be participating: Max Baur (Novomatic), Gonzalo Peréz (Apuesta Total), Carlos Ramos (Rivalo and Comercial Ebony).

On the second day the following industry leaders will participate: Tomas Mieles (Merkur), José Luis Gonzales (Winsystems), Javier Cicciomessere (Golden Race), Gustavo Sanchez (Jazz Gaming), Lourdes Brito (Corporación PJ), Felix Gomez (Corporación Meier) and Ricardo Mustafa (Masaris). Acting as moderator will be José Miguel Chueca.

AMG SAC, organizer of PGS, thanked all of the panelists for confirming their attendance.
