Online gaming provider Pragmatic Play is bringing “retro glamour” back and putting the 1940s into the spotlight in its latest online slot, Pinup Girls. The title promises to take players on a journey back in time “to pay homage to iconic beauty.”
Set across 5×4 reels, the slot is home to “glamorous” symbols which must form matching combinations across the title’s 20 paylines to award a win. A lipstick wild aids in the creation of these wins, substituting all other symbols in the game except the scatter symbols.
A progressive feature underpins the gameplay of the slot with reels two, three and four being marked with numerous possible multipliers. On every spin, these multipliers have a chance to be increased by 1x and every 10 spins the value of these multipliers is reset, explains the supplier.
During the game, at least three scatter symbols are needed to trigger 10 free spins with additional scatters awarding more spins. During this time, any wilds landed in the bonus have their position marked and will be landed here again every five spins with multipliers no longer resetting after 10 spins, notes Pragmatic Play.
This new slot release follows hot on the heels of recent slots like Wild Wild Bananas, Dragon Hero and Starlight Christmas, which reside amongst a collection of over titles in Pragmatic Play’s games portfolio.

Earlier this week, the company also unveiled a new Aztec empire-themed slot called Secret City Gold. Played across 5×4 reels, it is home to symbols including monkeys, tigers and snakes, which must form matching combinations to award a win. The symbols are joined by wilds, which substitute all other symbols in the game except for the scatter, “enabling players to create wins.”
Patterns are also a key mechanic, as during any spin there is a chance that a random shape will appear on the reels that mark certain positions in a pattern. All symbols within this shape transform into the same icon and award a win, with a multiplier up to 10x also being attached.
