SBC has announced that nominations for the second edition of SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022 are now open. The winners will be announced in front of an audience of 400 industry executives during a ceremony at the Seminole Ballroom of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on November 3.

For this edition, the Awards ceremony will feature a “wider range of categories in order to include more of the region’s rapidly growing industry.” The 26 awards include 7 for operators, 2 for affiliates, 13 for suppliers, 2 for payments providers, and 2 for industry-wide honors.

The organization guaranteed that there are categories for companies in the sports betting, casino, bingo, and lottery markets to compete “with opportunities for everyone,” from established major players to challenger brands.

Cristian Robalino, VP Marketing, Americas for SBC, said: “Markets across Latin America are generating huge excitement in the international betting and gaming industry, as both local innovators and global brands look to seize the opportunities created by the spread of regulation.”

With so many businesses chasing success in the region, this year’s Awards are certain to be ultra competitive. It will be fascinating to see which companies our judges identify as the top performers on what promises to be another great night at the SBC Awards Latinoamérica ceremony in November,” he added.

At the inaugural SBC Awards Latinoamérica, Rushbet.co, Codere, Lotería de Río Negro, Kaizen Gaming, Apuesta Total, Betsson Group, Betcris, Oddspedia, Sportingtech, Pragmatic Play, and Paysafe were among the 20 winners of the prestigious trophies.

As for nominations, entries opened free of charge on May 24 and the nomination period will be open until July 15 this year. The judging panels will be made up of industry experts, who will draw up the shortlists and choose the winners.

The ceremony takes place on the closing day of SBC Summit Latinoamérica 2022 which will begin on November 1 and will bring together companies already working in or planning to enter gambling markets across Latin America.
