Gaming consultancy SCCG Management has announced that it will be expanding its existing partnership with TV sports data provider Ronin Sport. The new terms of their relationship will now include distribution in Brazil.

The expansion was announced by Stephen Crystal, SCCG Management CEO and Founder, and builds upon the existing distribution partnership for North America. SCCG is set to continue its current role as a strategic business partner to Ronin Sport and, additionally, will help the company enter the Brazilian market.

Stephen Crystal said: “SCCG was successful in bringing Ronin into North America and we will continue this momentum as we expand their distribution into Brazil. We have a high-level team and extensive network in Brazil and we are excited to fill this gap in Brazil’s gaming industry. Ronin has a great product, you can tell that the founders have been doing this for 15 years.”

According to a press release, SCCG will provide insights, business development, and advisory services “to grow the company within different Brazilian sports market segments.” SCCG will also help develop the different sports solutions from Ronin Sport to fit the Brazilian market operators.

Andreas Fredmark, Managing Director of Roninsport.io, added: “We are excited to expand SCCG’s distribution role. The industry experience of SCCG is extraordinary and will contribute to developing our services further. Coming from Sweden with a focus on engineering and product development, we needed SCCG’s experience in market reach and business approach.”

One of the most accessible B2B solutions Ronin Sport provides is an integrated section on a digital sports service, explains a company statement. “It can be a media site, a sports odds comparison site, or a sportsbook. At the next level, Ronin can integrate a variety of solutions, for example, sportsbooks or betting platforms,” it further notes.

Ronin Sport first started in January 2020, led by a founding team that has 20 years of experience in digital media and sports in particular. The business follows the idea to provide solutions to answer “When and where Live Sports is sent on TV.”

The company’s product offers live TV and streaming data on several countries and on a wide range of sports. “The platform is flexible and robust and offers built-in affiliate business models,” says Ronin. Its main B2B clients are companies in media and iGaming, offering a fully customizable sports section to help them attract and retain a sports-interested audience

Back in July, Crystal’s alternative fund SCCG Venture Fund unveiled an investment in Ronin Sport. The transaction joined others made by the fund this year, including investments in Play Caller Sports and Bounty Sports. The deals are part of the fund’s mission to identify “the most innovative companies and founders’ involved in sports wagering, iGaming, esports gaming and wagering, sports data, affiliate solutions, and venue management.”
