Gaming and sports betting consultancy SCCG Management announced Thursday that its client OddsAI has signed an agreement with privately-owned African sports betting brand Worldstar Betting to integrate their odds feed into the brand’s sportsbook. The move is set to “boost engagement and improve the experience for Worldstar’s football betting customers”.

In a press release, the consultancy stated that Odds AI will also supply Worldstar Betting with its “heavily automated” bet settlement service, ensuring “fast, efficient and reliable” results of football bets wagered on any Worldstar Betting platform.

Stephen Crystal, Founder and CEO of SCCG Management, said: “We are excited to further our presence in the African gaming market. After opening an office in Kampala, Uganda, we are focused on adding more clients and facilitating more deals in Africa.”

“Odds AI’s best-in-class product provides odds and bets settlement services that integrate seamlessly into any in-play betting platform,” Crystal added. “Worldstar is a prominent player in the African sports betting market, and we expect this integration to be a great success.”

SCCG Management sourced this deal, “believing Odds AI’s solutions and existing product offerings are primed for substantial traction in Africa, Latin America, and Europe,” according to a statement.

Richard Nash, Worldstar Betting CEO, commented on the agreement: “I am very excited that Worldstar will team up with Odds AI to provide our customers with betting options that I believe will revolutionize the industry. Seldom in my forty-plus years in the industry have I seen such a radical product.”

Worldstar Betting is seeking to increase its position in the African sports betting landscape by adding to its current count of 50,000 daily active customers. With another highly anticipated European football season and an all-important 2022 FIFA World Cup around the corner, the operator sees Odds AI’s offering as the “ideal solution” to capitalize on what is shaping as a big 2nd half of 2022.

By integrating Odds AI’s micro market-filled odds feed, including three entirely new football betting categories, Worldstar is also”playing into current betting trends and appeasing the market’s increased expectations for more exciting betting options on any given event,” SCCG explained stated.

Jack Atkinson, Odds AI CEO, stated: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Worldstar Betting. What we really like is that despite already being a strong player in the market, they are bold, understand the future of sports betting, and want to be at the forefront of where sports betting is going. This is a really important milestone in our mission to achieve a global customer network and ensure that our game-changing products and services become entrenched in the betting world.”

Odds AI is looking to scale its reach by signing more customer agreements in football-loving regions. The betting service provider is eyeing widespread popularity and familiarity for its unique odds feed and automated combo bets during this upcoming football season, according to the statement issued Thursday.

Odds AI’s machine learning-driven odds feed is expected to triple in terms of the individual betting markets it produces over the next 12 months. Additionally, their football league coverage is likely to expand rapidly – they are currently on track to cover over 10,000 matches per year by the 2022/2023 football season and offer an innovative odds feed for two more sports by the end of 2023.
