Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 will mark the sport’s first trip to Atlanta this season. Yet, it will certainly be an exciting event as some of NASCAR’s top drivers are set to battle for the checkered flag.

In addition to the race winner, there are numerous prop bets to examine and wager on for this weekend’s big event.

Let’s take a look at the best Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 prop bets courtesy of Bovada.lv.

Atlanta Driver Matchups

In order to win these prop bets, you must pick which driver that you think will finish higher in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500:

Chase Elliott vs Denny Hamlin

I believe both drivers will finish in the Top 10 this weekend, but I really like Hamlin to challenge for a checkered flag and to win in this head to head matchup.

Hamlin has outperformed Elliott on the season as he sits 1st in the standings while Chase is 6th.

Elliott has the best average finish among active drivers (10.0) compared to Hamlin (17.3). However, Denny has won at this track and has more Top 5s as well.

With the way these two are racing this season to date, I like Hamlin to keep his streak of Top 5 finishes while Elliott falls somewhere between 6th and 10th.

Chase Elliott vs Denny Hamlin –Hamlin (-115)

Martin Truex Jr. vs Brad Keselowski

As much as I like Truex as a driver, I believe this matchup goes to Brad Keselowski. Truex does have six straight Top 8 finishes including 3rd last year and 2nd in 2019, but he has never won at this track in 22 career starts.

Keselowski has 12 starts and has two wins in this race. He won in 2017 and 2019. Furthermore, he has almost as many Top 5s and Top 10s as Truex does, but Keselowski has done it in 10 less starts.

I think Truex can be a Top 5 driver this weekend, but I see Keselowski winning the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 race.

Martin Truex Jr. vs Brad Keselowski –Keselowski (-105)

Best Group Finish

  • Brad Keslowski (+230)
  • Chase Elliott (+245)
  • Joey Logano (+265)
  • Kyle Busch (+275)

I’ve already laid out the cases Keselowski and Elliott. So, let’s see how the other two measure up at this track.

Logano has not won at this track in his 14 career starts. He also only has two Top 5s and five Top 10s. Logano was 10th last year in this race and 23rd in 2019.

Kyle Busch has won twice at Atlanta, but the last win came in 2013. He’s had three straight Top 7 results in this race, but Busch has just won win in the last 41 races and I have a hard time seeing him pick up a victory this weekend.

Like I stated above, I believe Keselowski is going to win this race. Even if he somehow finishes in the Top 3, I don’t see any of these other drivers listed in this group finishing higher.

Best Group Finish –Keslowski (+230)

Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Car Prop Bets

Car Number of Race Winner

  • Even (-130)
  • Odd (+100)

Considering the number of potential winners with an even numbered car, I would’ve thought these odds would be higher.

The best even numbered cars consist of Keselowski (2), Harvick (4), Busch (10) and Logano (22). There may be a few more that are driving odd numbered cars, but I believe the race win will come down to either Harvick or Keselowski. They’ve won the last four races at this track.

Car Number of Race Winner –Even (-130)

Car Number of Race Winner

  • Over 9.5 (-140)
  • Under 9.5 (+110)

I really like this prop bet more than the previous one. I’m betting heavy on the Under 9.5 for this wager due to the following drivers: Kurt Busch (1), Keselowski (2), Harvick (4), Larson (5) and Elliott (9).

That’s a stacked lineup with four of the Top 5 betting favorites. It also offers great betting value.

Car Number of Race Winner –Under 9.5 (+110)

Manufacturer of Race Winner

  • Ford (+155)
  • Chevrolet (+170)
  • Toyota (+200)

Toyota is the longshot of the trio as they’ve only won this race twice with the last one coming in 2013. However, they have a few drivers that will be in the Top 10 and the Top 5 like Hamlin, Truex and Busch.

Chevy has the most wins in this race with 23. Yet, their last three wins came from Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne in 2014 to 2016. Both drivers are retired. None of the top current Chevy drivers have ever won at this track other than Kurt Busch.

That brings us to Ford. They have won the last four races and have 20 victories overall. The two drivers I think with the best chance at winning on Sunday are Harvick and Keselowski who both drive Fords.

I’m surprised that Ford isn’t a bigger favorite, but I do love the value.

Manufacturer of Race Winner –Ford (+155)

Team of Race Winner

  • Joe Gibbs Racing (+210)
  • Hendrick Motorsports (+260)
  • Team Penske (+300)
  • Stewart-Haas Racing (+450)
  • Any Other Team (+1600)
  • Chip Ganassi Racing (+1800)
  • Richard Childress racing (+3300)
  • Roush Fenway Racing (+8000)
  • JTG Daughtery Racing (+8000)

I can see why Joe Gibbs Racing is the betting favorite for this weekend as Hamlin, Truex and Busch are Top 10 betting favorites for this Sunday’s race. Of the three, I like Hamlin’s chances the best. Truex won last weekend so I have a hard time seeing him twice in a row. Busch still has a lot to prove.

Hendrick Motorsports has Larson and Elliott who are two of the Top 5 betting favorites and Stewart-Haas has Kevin Harvick who is listed as the odds on favorite to win this race.

For me, I like Team Penske this Sunday. Yeah, Logano and Blaney haven’t been great at this track but they’re still on par with Truex and Busch this weekend. Yet, it’s Brad Keselowski that I think will be the driver to beat in this race. I have Keselowski winning the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.

Team of Race Winner –Team Penske (+300)

Grid Position of Race Winner

  • Over 6.5 (+105)
  • Under 6.5 (-135)

The only driver that’s Over 6.5 this weekend and has a real shot at winning is Kevin Harvick who will start 7th overall.

Other Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Prop Bets

Otherwise, this prop bet is all about the Under 6.5 wager of -135 odds which offers great value considering the drivers that are starting in the Top 6.

Denny Hamlin will start on the pole with his teammate Martin Truex Jr. beside him. Starting in the 2nd row are Joey Logano and Brad Keslowski. In the 3rd row is Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson. That’s six of the Top 7 betting favorites for this weekend. Take the Under!

Grid Position of Race Winner –Under 6.5 (-135)
