Summer is approaching fast, and people are making plans for Las Vegas concerts and trips! Many visitors schedule their vacations around one of their favorite bands or music artists visiting Sin City. Now, the Eagles residency at the Sphere has finally come to an end… after 18 months and six extensions. But as they leave, several big name artists are headed to Sin City to fill the void this summer. So, let’s break it down by venue.
Starting at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, where Blake Sheldon’s Live in Las Vegas residency continues with eight shows in May, followed by the almost ageless Rod Stewart and a 12 show run through August. Then, Kelly Clarkson returns for 10 performances in July with her Studio Sessions residency. And Dolly Parton makes it back, this time with six shows to close out the summer in September.
Moving to the Dolby live theater at Park MGM, Mary J. Blige visits from May 1st through the 9th and then again in mid July, while the Jonas Brothers perform four shows between May 20th and 24th. New Kids on the Block are back June 19th through the 27th and again July 1st through the 4th, while the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar will take the stage for his Las Vegas concerts September 18th through the 26th.
Next we head to the Sphere where a Metallica residency is scheduled to begin in October. And even though that’s not a summer residency, we thought we better mention it now. But before Metallica arrives, No Doubt we’ll fill the bill, with shows all throughout May and into the first half of June, followed by country artist Kenny Chesney, who is slated to perform nine shows from late June to early July. Once he wraps up, the Backstreet Boys return for a month with over 20 shows from July 16th through the end of August. And Carin León closes out the summer at the Sphere with a quick seven show set.
Now, if you haven’t heard already, there are rumors swirling that Pink is about to sign a Sphere residency for 2027. When that is announced, remember, you heard it here first. And if it isn’t announced, then forget I mentioned it. Before we get to the huge shows at Allegiance Stadium, here’s a look at some other artists playing Las Vegas concerts in smaller venues this summer, including Duran Duran and the Guess Who at Fontainebleau. Plus, headliner Shania Twain will return to Planet Hollywood. Resident artist Barry Manilow is still packing them in at the Westgate while the Venetian welcomes back the B-52s and Cheap Trick.
Finally, this week, the biggest shows hitting Las Vegas this summer all have one thing in common. They will all take place at Allegiant Stadium. And we begin with one of the biggest names in contemporary country music, Morgan Wallen. He will perform two Vegas shows May 1st and 2nd before making way for the South Korean boy band BTS, who will play four shows later that month. Then Ed Sheeran will take center stage in the middle of July. But if country and pop aren’t your style, then August will be your month as rock and roll legends AC/DC arrive on the 1st. They will be followed by Guns and Roses on August 22nd. And then the Foo Fighters arrive in Vegas just as summer comes to an end in late September.
So that’s your Las Vegas concerts lineup for this summer. And hopefully one of your favorite artists will be making a stop in Sin City. And be sure you’re getting notified whenever we publish new materials by taking a moment to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
