Virtus.pro vs HAVU Pick – Virtus.pro (-227)

What we’ve seen on Funspark ULTI 2020 thus far is nothing short of surprising. Virtus.pro and BIG are in the lower bracket after the first round, while forZe and Extra Salt are in the upper bracket semifinals. We had quite a few upsets already, that’s for sure. But, Virtus.pro vs. HAVU isn’t going to be that kind of a match! Virtus.pro vs HAVU predictions seem pretty straightforward – everything points to an easy win for YEKINDAR and the lads. But, as always, we won’t be making and rash decisions. Instead, we’re going to focus on the matchup at hand and see if the likeliest outcome really is the one everything points towards.

We didn’t manage to turn the tide in our favor and @forzegg capture 2:0 victory! 😧

Everything is on the line coming into this one. Remember, this is the first lower bracket round – the losing team is eliminated. There’s no more second chances for this bunch; they need to win all of them if they are to reach the grand finals… and even then, they’ll be in an uphill struggle with a map disadvantage coming into the final bo5.

But, we’re getting way ahead of ourselves here. Let’s pace our Virtus.pro vs HAVU predictions better and focus on how these teams stack up at esports betting sites online.

Virtus.pro vs HAVU Betting Predictions

Both sets of players will come into this one with that special fire! As you already know, they both lost their opening matches. Virtus.pro lost to forZe, HAVU lost to Complexity. They both looked pretty bad, but we have to point out VP’s defeat came following overtime drama. Let’s face it, forZe were lucky to get away with the win on the first day of the competition…

Usually, this part of our esports picks is dedicated to head-to-head encounters. However, Virtus.pro vs HAVU picks piece doesn’t work like that. You see, this is the first time these two compete head-to-head.  Who’s going to hit the ground running here? Well, thus far everything has been pointing towards Virtus.pro. But, there’s still time for HAVU to switch the odds in their favor… Can they do it?

Recent Results

HAVU kicked 2021 off with several outstanding campaigns. They won ELISA Nordic Championship Finland, Snow Sweet Snow #2 and the inaugural season of Funspark ULTI 2021. But, they also had two terrible campaigns in April – Elisa Invitational Spring and Snow Sweet Snow #3. Their inconsistency ought to cost them here!

Virtus.pro, on the other hand, have been nothing but amazing in late 2020 and early 2021. Flashpoint Season 2, DreamHack Open December, CS_Summit 7 – three consecutive titles for VP with their key players YEKINDAR and Jame going through the form of their life. But, ESL Pro League Season 13 didn’t go according to their plans. They got eliminated by Complexity in the event they had extremely high hopes for. Even though they were unlucky (a bit) against forZe, that doesn’t mean they can keep delivering half-baked performances and hope for the best. If VP wants to reach far into the lower bracket, they need to regroup and start working as a team. Look at me, I’m like a motivational speaker here…

Map Depth

The map pool tells us a lot of things! For starters, we need to state the obvious – both teams are pretty decent across the board… not counting their permabans, of course. That’s Nuke for Virtus.pro and Vertigo for HAVU.

Train is the map HAVU will try to force here. Virtus.pro ought to go for Inferno. Everything else is going to be tight. But we do need to remember one thing; HAVU didn’t play too well on Mirage and Overpass against Complexity. If push comes to shove in the decider, and it’s one of these two, you can count on Virtus.pro to pull through with the win.

Individual Qualities

Obviously, Virtus.pro has the better set of players here. I always feel like I’m the worst human being ever for belittling some of these rosters. But hey, I’m just being brutally honest here; brutal honesty combined with research is what wins CSGO bets, fellas!

That said, YEKINDAR and Jame’s form takes the win for Virtus.pro in this department. Heck, if we go back to earlier sections, we’ll notice a pattern. Yep, Virtus.pro is the team to bet on here. But, do our picks reflect that? Let’s see!

Virtus.pro vs HAVU Pick

In all honesty, -227 isn’t too bad… assuming Virtus.pro grabs an easy win here. I don’t see how they could fail, except if YEKINDAR and Jame fail to show up. I’m just messing around guys, that won’t happen. Of course, if you don’t like -227, if it’s too low for you, feel free to mess around with correct score or some other props. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything notable there.

Pick: Virtus.pro

Odds: -227

$100 Could Win You…$144.05

This match could turn into a blowout, but it could also be a three-map thriller. It all depends on how these sets of players go about their stuff on the opening map. Well, I guess that about wraps it up here! The match starts tomorrow at 2 PM CEST so make sure you tune in. Odds are courtesy of BetOnline. Check out our BetOnline review here. Enjoy!
